Doctor Stubbs apologized for comments made during a stressful day.

Spoke to doctor about my mother who I am now caring for in a polite manner. Doctor raised his voice and was very disrespectful when I wanted to obey CDC rules they’d texted for all Americans to follow stating CDC: Americans over 60 should stock up on food and medications and stay home as the Coronovirus spreads. He told me in a very rude tone with raised voice, that this is South Georgia and we have no Coronovirus in our area. I told him I was sorry but I that the CDC had said that, because we’d had no access to test kits for the virus, that the number of cases were under represented and were likely in the tens of thousands. I asked him if he’d been able to test anyone for the virus and he rudely said he had but when I asked if he’d had the tests prior to two days ago, he said he had not. My mother’s visit that I canceled was a routine office where nothing more than checking her blood pressure was necessary. He yelled at me that, if I didn’t bring her in within 2 months, that he… would not give her any more medicine. She only takes blood pressure medicine and I check her blood pressure regularly. I didn’t feel that the risk was worth this simple visit. She has never missed an appointment and just saw him

Our experience with Dr. Stubbs has always been great. He is the most compassionate, kind, patient and professionalperson. He truly cares about his patients and never makes you feel rushed. When you are being taken care of by him while in his office, you have his full attention. I would recommend him to everyone.
