Dr. Joseph C. Tauro, MD

First off reading the negative review regarding having knee surgery maybe the problem was because you were overweight and caused your own issues of a horrible recovery. I had not one but two surgeries performed by Dr. Tauro. The first surgery was a rotator cuff the second surgery was tennis elbow. Both surgeries were successful Thank you Dr. Tauro. Now for the other review for the one talking about what Dr. Tauro is typing on his computer (quote) Dr. Tauro is writing what he feels like typing (you are so wrong my friend). Dr. Tauro is very precise regarding typing his report on an individual regarding your surgery. From there on every returning visit again very precise on his reports how you are progressing, what kind of pain are you feeling etc. And may I add he will recommend a MRI or whatever test he feels you may need. He is not a doctor who tells you straight out you need surgery in fact he tries not to go down that road. He will try cortisone shots or whatever treatment he could… try before surgery. As far as his staff Kay, Donna And Judy are wonderful, very polite and I am always treated like a friend not a patient. Dr. Tauro and Staff keep up the excellent professionalism. Last but not least Dr. Tauro happens to be in fact probably out of all my doctors has the best bed side manner any doctor could have. Lastly he wears the best Hawaiian shirts ever. LOL

Dr Tauro performed rotator cuff surgery on my right arm. He did an excellent repair and I had NO problems recovering. On my last visit before he was going to release me, he did a routine exam and X-ray. He noticed something on the X-ray that he did not like. He suggested I see a specialist. If it were not for Dr Tauro's keen eye and knowledge of his profession, my "Something" turned out to be a bone tumor which the cure for it 40 yrs ago was to cut the arm off. Thanks to Dr Tauro and his colleague Dr Patterson I have my arm and I am cancer free.

I had bi-lateral knee surgery, both failed within 16 months and both were replaced a second time. Beta-dine was used and I had a "Allergy to Iodine products" on my wrist. 8 days ICU, 14 days in the hospital, drop foot caused by surgery, never got better, handicapped for life. worse thing was after the hospital I was ignored by the practice and had to go elsewhere. I've found out in the 8 years sense the surgery there are others like me.

This poor excuse of a human should not be allowed to call himself a doctor. His reports are all fiction, he probably already decided what he will write before even seeing a patient. He nneds to loose his license and fast before he hurts more people.

Had the same experience as the person that gave the revue on Jan.25, 2016. If I saw that revue I would have gone to another surgeon, Almost died in ICU for a week.

It's up to me to decide if I need an MRI or not. If I never want surgery, don't get it, but if I want to know if I have a torn meniscus, I could get one done. Based on a normal x-ray...

I would like to tell everyone about Dr.Tauro he really knows what he is doing he is thee best Sorts Medicine surgeon. He had done both my shoulders they were so bad from a bike accident and it was amazing how perfect he had done to them, and I mean perfect. He's himself and straight forward and don't beat around the bush about anything, if he say's you need surgery then you do, he is the doctor who just don't operate on you for the insurance money, he does it because you need to have it. He is the one left on honesty. He does'nt know it but I knew him when he was younger and he was very nice then and still the same way now. I want everyone to know you can difinately rely on him and he will do the best for ya, you won't get that anywhere else. He is real in this business field patient first. By the way about the patient with the knee surgery that commented she's having trouble, well knees are tricky and if you don't do right you probably cause it. Excersise it and wear a brace when… doing so, make sure your not over weight, common logic

He was amazing! Referred me for an MRA and then sent me to a Dr. in Princeton for a second opinion. I liked that he was trying different things before he operated on me. Had the surgery and now pain free. I would recommend him to anyone having problems with their shoulders. He's the best!
