I received excellent care from Dr Taverni and his staff

Dr. Taverni is an angry, obnoxious and ill-mannered lout who could only be more professional if he practiced out of a roadside food cart. He spent the majority of my two visits expressing judgemental thoughts and opinions of me that weren't remotely pertinent to my treatment. It's as if he formulated an opinion of me at first glance and then spent the rest of the exam attempting to prove himself correct, which of course put me on the defense. I'm not in the habit of defending myself from baseless allegations or engaging in irrelevant discourse from anyone let alone from an assumed medical professional. My next visit to his office will be with a physical therapist so hopefully, I won't have to interact with Dr. Taverni again and can just concentrate on therapy. Avoid this clearly disturbed individual. There's no reason why he should make a decent living by treating patients as if they're prisoners of war.

Doctor Taverni is a very easy to talk to person. You never feel rushed. His staff are very friendly. He answers all questions and even wrote down all the important info for me. I am very happy I met him

He is kind and knowledgeable and takes a lot of time to explain what is wrong with you. I am very happy my regular doctor sent me to him.

I had been to many doctors over the years for arm pain. I had even had two surgeries done to my upper arm to fix the pain. A friend suggested that I try Dr Taverni. I drove accross NYC to his office. I had 10 years of x-ray reports and tests that I handed to him as he walked through the door. He smiled, put them down, and said he would look at them later. First, he wanted me to tell him all about the pain. He didn't pepper me with questions. He simply said "let's talk like we were having coffee and tell me all about what is wrong." After 30 mins of talking, he examined me and looked through my papers. He pointed out that no one had ever looked at my elbow, just my shoulder and upper arm and neck. I went for an MRI of my elbow and it showed a "trapped nerve." He explained it in plain English and how to treat it. My pain is now gone. Thank you does not seem like enough.

He spent a lot of time getting to know me and what I wanted to ne able to do. We came up with a plan together and I am feeling better for the first time in years. Going back to his office is like visiting old friends. A great atmosphere.

I was sent to Dr Taverni by my surgeon---who, after numerous tests and painful probes and useless procedures, concluded he could not treat my bone disease (I've been to all top NY hospitals and noone helped me because none knew how). Dr Taverni restored my hope and found a way to give me back my sense of wellbeing. He is kind, compassionate , smart and knows how to take complex information and translate it to normal easy to understand English. He spent a lot of time learning and analyzing my history and came up with a plan to make me functional again. I strongly encourage anyone who suffers from pain to see him. He is honest and if he cant help you, he will tell you. He wont string you along. He's very good at answering questions and will spend as much time as you need with you. The staff is very nice there. The office is in a nice building with an elevator and indoor parking

I was very pleased with both Dr. Taverni and his staff. He took the time to explain what was wrong and the best way to treat it. My pain is gone now and I am getting on with my life after a year of limbo.

I REFERRED TO DR TAVERNI.I WAS HIT BY A CAR A CAR IN THE SPINE.I WAS PRACTICALLY PARILYIZED.BUT AS DOCTOR HE CONFORTED ME AND GAVE ME HOPE.HE WORKED SO HARD WHEN I HAD NO HOPE.NOW I AM BETTER THAN I WAS.I AM SO GREATFULL TO THIS DOCTOR.I OWE HIM FOREVER. I found Dr. Taverni and his staff to be very friendly and professional. The office was clean and comfortable and the doctor answered all my questions. I am glad I was recommended to him.
