Dr. Joseph Eugene Taylor Jr, MD

So far so good. Dr. Taylor has only been treating me for a little over a year. My best indicator is what my blood pressure is when I get to his office. It was 124/80 last time. I am always relaxed with Dr Taylor. With other doctors it was always higher. So far he and his nurse have helped me find a blood pressure medicine that works, thats inexpensive, and helps me decide to drop medicines that are expensive and one that makes me dizzy, makes me loose potassium, be fatigued, sleepy and keeps me running to the bathroom 4-5/nightly. He helped me recognize pre-cancer scaly growths and removed them. He helped me discover the source of unbearable itching around my waist and groin area. Blood tests are back the next day and his nurse faxes them to me promptly. Outer office wait is usually less than 5 minutes and I wait only 3-8 minutes before he comes in to talk with me. His body language tells me he cares. Eventhough we differ in our political views, I'm really glad he's there… for me. Who knows why people don't like a doctor, but I understand. My last doctor was a loose cannon. One day my blood pressure was up because of an inner ear infection which he had refused to treat and then came in and said, " Mr --- , your head is going to explode!". Wow, what a bed-side mannner. Dr. Taylor gets a 9-10 out of 10 in my book. If he would change his political outlook he would rate a perfect 10 -- ha.

My family went to him in the past and for several years. When a health crisis occurred he failed miserably, with diagnosis, follow up, helping with understanding the condition, finding specialists, and so forth.
