Dr. Joseph C Tutorino, MD

Personally, I just have to say that he has to be one of the best ortho surgeons I've ever met! I'm an operating room nurse and I've seen many joint procedures and Dr. Tutorino's skills are definitely top tier. If I have to have my other knee done he will be the first one I call. His bedside manner leaves no questions unanswered and leaves you completely confident prior to and after surgery. Dr. Tutorino does beautiful work - see picture below - I can't thank him enough!!!

My initial visit was with the P.A., who was very friendly and listened to my concern about my wrist cyst. He suggested I have a visit with Dr. Tutorino, who was very confident in how to treat my cyst and the staff was able to schedule me around my schedule. Dr. Tutorino visited with me both before and after the surgery and even took the time to have a visit with me when I called the office about a concern I had about my healing (turns out, after a follow up with the good doctor, was not a big deal after all and he was able to diminish the fluid filled swelling in just a few minutes). He did not make me feel rushed and made sure I was satisfied before I left to go back to work for the day. The nurse, the P.A., the front staff, as well as Dr. Tutorino were friendly, professional, prompt and made this process as enjoyable/easy as a wrist surgery can be.

I expect delays when it comes to dealing with surgery/patients, so I really don't mind the wait. Everything else is on point. Great doctor and staff.

Extreme wait time. A hour and more.

I was denied care because of some paper work I was never asked for until I was at the visit. The asian lady at the front was utterly annoying. Every new patient she had she was very dry and ready to dismiss probably because she does not do well under stress, she kept mentioning how busy it was when there were only 4 people waiting with 2 doctors. She was only welcoming to elder patients most of them seemed to be on walkers and constant visitors, it must be preference of insurance for them. Also the lady at the front kept telling me what I had to pay upfront several times as if she thought I did not have enough, I personally felt she was profiling me for my insurance and because I was considerably younger than her other patients. If you have an insurance from healthcare dont expect to be treated like a patient. If you must come to this place be warned you might be pretty annoyed with the front staff. Amber(not the asian lady) scheduled the appointment with me and she was the best… attendant Ive ever had, try to go on a day where she is working the front desk!!! The inside was definetly better in service, they were very patient as well. If you can go to an specialized doctor like at Orlando Orthopedic Center, the staff at Tutorino only really specialize in knee and hip repair.
