Dr. Joseph A Vassalotti, MD

Joseph seems to have alot of fantasies floating about in his head about his perceived ability to correctly diagnose a problem as well as an arrogance that i found humorous but concerning. I had already seen a nephrologist and knew what i was there for, and required yet he seemed to not only be dismissive of the other mayo clinic specialists diagnosis in favor of his own but also incredibly determined to make himself look important at the expense of a correct diagnosis and treatment which i already had..i just needed the Dr locally to complete treatment. I looked him up only to find that another MT Sinai "DR.. a very "prestegious urologist" with Mt Sinai actually had been arrested shortly before for indecent behavior and looking up womens dresses and filming them. After his arrest they found evidence in his home that he had been filming his patients also. The Dr. (Adam Levinson) for some reason was allowed to be treating women without a secondary person in attendance?? I don't even know… if that is legal, so i'm going with my instincts on this loser and staying away. Mt Sinai needs to step up their game if they wish to remain a top hospital as they once were.

I saw Joseph for a relapsing kidney infection due to less than adequate treatment . He proceeded to ask ridiculous questions such as " What do you hope to get out of treating this" And do you really expect to get this down to a 0 colony count (of said bacteria) I told him my ID Dr. could handle the treatment and we only wanted to know if there were any kidney damage. He actually insinuated that i was wrong for expecting enough treatment to eliminate the infection so it didn't relapse again. Dr. like him are responsible for the 50,000 or so sepsis deaths each year which begin as a UTI, develop into kidney infections and turn to urosepsis and death all the while saying sick and twisted things like "You really want to eliminate the infection"? These animals have blood of all these patients on their hands and are criminals. Then this idiot called me and told me i couldn't take the medicine i had been taking for 3 weeks because if i was allergic to penacillin i could not take this other… drug (not penacillin) i itold him he didn't know what he was talking about (i was nicer than that though) and he conceded. Joseph Vassalotti is a dangerous person and a sick man and were it up to him i would have sepsis by now. Needless to say, i don't wish him well.

Excellent doctor & bedside manner. An expert in his field. Immaculate office and professional staff. I highly recommend him to everybody.

Dr. Vasalotti is a gift from God. He saved my life more than once in the past year. He is by far the most skilled and compassionate doctor I have ever known. I know he truly cares and all his actions confirm that. During all my illnesses he was very kind to my wife and encouraged her to have hope.
