Dr. leaps to judgment before understanding a situation.

Thought anyone looking at this should know that after he forced me off my medication I fought for it. Finally, my new PCP said that if a neurologist gave the OK then I could go back on the med. The neurologist said that Dr. Wright was very WRONG and I could go back on my medication whenever. I will be keeping his letter to prove this in case there's any other DR like Dr. Wright out there who tries to force the issue. Here's a lesson, always get a 2nd opinion and don't let Dr. Wright force you into something you're not comfortable with!

I saw DR. wright for the first time a few months ago. He informed me that a mediation prescribed by another doctor that I'd been taking for years increased my stroke risk by like a %. He informed me of the risks which I said I felt didn't outweigh the benefits. I took time to think about it and told him I didn't want to switch and to please drop it. Especially cause my other options weren't as good. I asked him not to speak to my other dr about it either. Well he decided to force me. He called my other doctor and scared her into making me see a specialist before she'd prescribe any more. Needless to say he is no longer my dr. I called the AMA to complain. While what he did is legal they said it wasn't right and they didn't blame me for being really upset. He is not to be trusted and he does not take patient feelings into account. It really felt like he cared more about his ego than me.

He's a newly minted doc and , while he seems like a nice guy,is slow on the uptake, does not return even urgent calls, neglected to make expected referral, and the one referral he did make was completely off. I know it's hard to find a PCP, but he was a waste of time.

Spends more time talking about emotions than spending time on your actual physical problem. Asks too many personal questions about home life that do not have to do with medical visit.

this doc is bright and attentive in office,when it comes to taking history. he is new to practice, neglected to make an essential referral, did make a referral to a specialist that he said would have the expertise to provide treatment, but who actually had no expertise in the condition from which I suffer, does not return a phone call in a timely manner at all,never got on top of regular prescriptions. maybe he should take some time off, regroup, get his bearings and start over when he is ready for the demands particular to internal medicine.he seems like a nice guy,otherwise, and if you have no pressing medical issues or needs.
