Dr. Joseph Zebede, MD

Nowadays, most people who “practice” medicine only use it for money and nothing else. This person, who acts as if he were God, was entirely out of line when he walked into my 91-year-old grandmother's room. My mother, who has been staying with her for a few days as she recovers from an unknown infection, mistakenly butt-dialed me, and I was able to hear this doctor disrespecting my mother. He quickly cut my mother's conversation off and rudely said, “Cut to the chase. I have other patients to see”. “I had set up my whole team, and now… We all wanted to discuss this procedure further with him. This imbecile may have a medical degree but needs a patient care and ethics certification. He doesn't care to listen to his patients or family members. My grandmother, at 91, is a walking, talking encyclopedia and is doing just that—a terrible experience with this doctor at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Since I was on a hurry, Dr Zebede accepted my visit even on a Saturday. The insurance company was ready to accept a pacemaker implantation, but after some deliberation, Dr. Z decided that to try to cure my problem with some new drugs. They work perfectly and I feel great. When I phone him fir further consultation, he took my call right away. I could not ha had a better diagnosis and follow up. Great job. Thank you.

An expert in electrophysiology, Dr Zebede came up with a comprehensive treatment plan. Very professional.

i am baffled reading these reviews and question whether the patients who have submitted negative reviews have realistic expectations of their healthcare providers. I have been a patient of Dr. Zebede's for several years now and have consistently found him to be a caring, pleasant and most importantly, well read healthcare practioner.

Dr. Zebede was extremely courteous, thorough, and insightful. He really took his time to listen, answer, and explain. You can tell that he truly cares. I was worried about having a pace maker put in, medically and cosmetically, but Dr. Zebede had the scar hidden by a slight fold in my skin, which is very hard to do. I've had other surgeries, and doctors never take the time to close wounds cosmetically / to look good. I was grateful that Dr. Zebede got the job done well medically and in a visually pleasing way.

I've never been to a doctor that was so UNcaring. He seems to be in it for the money. If money is your goal in life, go to Wall Street.

I had a bad experience with this doctor. After reading other comments, I see why he is rated very poor. Mount Sinai Hospital is top rated, so I can't understand how he is on their staff. I guess he has good medical credentials on paper. But in practice, he is not the kind of person you would trust to heal you.

Procedure was rushed. It didn't work. Bills piling up.

I had one visit with this doctor and one was enough. He seemed uninterested in what I had to say and in a rush to see the next patient.
