Dr. Josephine Diem Pham, MD

Been going for 15 years and I don;t think I will ever change. She listens to your problem/s and works on solution. What else can I ask for ?

I read the reviews about this doctor before i used her and I only paid attention to the good reviews. Big mistake. Dr Pham is a very pleasant lady and does seem to listen to you but she does not run the office her staff runs the office. And her staff is incompetent. Dr Pham advised me to have a couple scans one which involved a fast. I did not eat or drink anything other than water and scheduled my appointment for the morning. When I arrived the staff could not find the appt. and told me I did not make an appointment. I showed them the card from Dr Pham with the appt. date and time written on it and they said oh, ok give us a few minutes. 20 minutes later they said the doctor had an emergency and will not be able to come today. We need to reschedule. I asked about the second appt. for the other scan and they could not find it either. They asked if i would like to reschedule both and i said no because if the doctor doesn't call me when they can't make it that I do not want to fast and… come in for nothing. They said fine, suit yourself. Dr Pham never inquired about the scans and why I did not do them. My daughter who also went to them called in to get a prescription filled for birth control pills. They said she would have to make an appt. because the last appt was 6 months ago. She had never had to come in every 6 months just to get birth control before. They did not fill the prescription. At a later time i needed a prescription filled because i was going on vacation. Because of the long wait time for them to fill prescriptions i called a week in advance. Two days before i was to leave still no prescription. Called again and they called it in finally but when I got home and took out the prescription it was for the wrong medication. When I called and told them said too bad nothing they could do. I was frustrated and said i need to talk to Dr Pham. She does not talk to her patients her staff handles all calls. Finally they told me they would call in the correct prescription but that I needed to take back the wrong one. When i went in to pick up the new prescription the pharmacy said they never take back prescriptions. I then told the girl on the phone that I was having so much trouble with all of these prescriptions that I may need to start looking for another doctor. Again she said fine whatever you think. The following month i received a prescription that I take monthly and was told by the pharmacy that my doctor had given me one last prescription because she was no longer going to be my doctor. She told this to the pharmacy not to me and called in the incorrect blood pressure medicine which she said she was prescribing to get me thru until i find another doctor. Although I liked Dr Pham as a person I would never wish her care on anyone.

Doctor Pham is great! she is up on the latest in technical knowledge and she has a big heart. She really cares about her patients. I like the fact that she thinks about her patients care and overall well-being.

After being a patient for 10+ years I was dropped after failing to pay a co-pay bill due to an incorrect address on file. No phone call was made to me. I was notified when I called the pharmacy for a refill on medication I have been taking for more than 15 years. Several of the medicines are for treatment of heart related issues and another is for issues with my kidneys. When I asked if I could receive a refill to last me until I found another PCP I was told to "Go to Urgent Care". During all of the phone calls the doctor herself refused to either take my call or call me back. I dealt with an office manager. And you think Insurance Companies are bad...

She save my life!

Doctor Pham is great! Her office area is little, but she more than makes up for it in technical knowledge and heart. She really cares about her patients.

staff is rude, unable to leave voicemail messages, seems to fast in making decisions on care, seems rushed. I wouldn't say it's more than a 6 in quality overall.

I've been going to Dr. Pham for quite some time now. Although some of her office staff (especially one girl in particular)can be rude and hard to talk to, seeing Dr. Pham is worth the inconvenience! Dr. Pham is always busy but spends a great deal of time on you, answers all of your questions, does not belittle you, and goes out of her way to offer you samples and work with billing options when your budget is tight. She is the best doctor I have had!
