Thank you for making me feel comfortable on my first visit. The medical questions were thorough and I didn't have to wait long to see the Doctor. Dr. Sabharwal was professional and very interested in my medical history, daily activities, sleep patterns and social life. We were able to discuss a plan that allows me to continue working and possibly enjoy a better quality of life. Great start!

It is difficult and sometimes impossible to get a refill if you run out before your next appt. And you will, bc they dont schedule the appointments and prescriptions to coincide. If your medication has terrible withdrawal symptoms and you run out a week before your appointment, either suffer or go to urgent care if you can afford it. I don't think doctors realize how traumatic and painful sudden SSRI can be - or they do and don't care. She is not a horrible doctor but don't expect to get much help, useful advice or to have your symptoms taken seriously. Ochsner moves patients through the system like cattle - patients are just a dollar signs.

She listened to everything I said and if/when not understood she asked questions. I feel she is a thorough, empathic doctor who understands pain and its effects on daily life.

Dr. Sabharwal has a very calming and nurturing personality. She makes you feel very comfortable talking with her. A true professional.
