Great doctor patient relationship. I had to have emergency surgery on a Monday I’ve never met Dr. Goldstrich till that day. He came into my room tell me what he was going to do asked me if I had any questions and assured me how well this is gonna turn out. I had a couple of choices to make as far as what to do on my surgery we discussed them together we came to the decision what would be the best procedure. I highly recommend Dr. goldstrich for anything you’re needing done.

This gentleman is such an amazing surgeon! He recently performed a lifesaving surgery on a friend of mine. He has a great bedside manner and spends time with the patient. Even more importantly, he delivers excellent explanation of procedures and associated risks. I had complete confidence in his skill. Would definitely recommend!

My mother was brought to the ED with stomach pains, after waiting in the ED for hours we finally had a CT of her abdomen done which showed an incarcerated hernia. After the ED doctors received the CT results a consult was called to Waco Surgical. Doctor Goldstrich reviewed the results, had her admitted, and had surgery scheduled within minutes. We were unable to meet with Dr. Goldstrich before she was taken to surgery due to emergency status of her case. Dr. Goldstrich arranged for me to come to the OR holding and not only explained the situation to me, but also had a computer brought to her holding bay so that he could go over the CT results with us. He explained why he wanted to operate immediately, and answered every question I had. His bedside manner was amazing, the surgery went perfectly, and her incision looks great! We couldn't have hoped for a better surgeon.

My daughter was referred to Josh Goldstrich by her pediatrician concerning her Umbilical Hernia. Mr. Goldstrich asked her age and how long she has had her hernia, all of this information was in her file. Which I'm assuming he did not read. He recommended waiting until she was 5 years old.. her pediatrician said otherwise. I said to my mother who was in the room, "We'll just go to Fort Worth." Goldstrich angrily asked why. I stated "It's obvious you do not know what you are doing." He ran to the door that my mother walked out of. I was holding my 13 month old daughter and had my 2.5 year olds hand when Goldstrich PUSHED me. I told him to keep his hands off of me. He said he didn't operate on 13 month olds. When exactly was I going to be told this? Why schedule an appointment for a child without looking at their file? To get what insurance he can. This was extremely distasteful. I'm truly disgusted.

Dr. Goldstrich has completed 2 surgeries on me and 2 on my husband in less then 1 months time under two different diagnosis. I had what we thought was appendicitis only to discover I have a very rare cancer, adenocarcinoma of the appendix, where Dr. Goldstrich had to perform a right side hemicolectomy 2 weeks after the appendix surgery. Dr. Goldstrich was wonderful in giving me the surprise diagnosis, and what he needed to do immediately and why. He explained that I needed to choose an oncologist of my choice immediately and get started on treatments. He always spends time with me and my family answering all our questions and explaining everything in terms we can easily grasp for both my own condition and my husbands. When it comes to my husband, Dr. Goldstrich performed emergency surgery for a significant bowel obstruction 2 days before my second surgery, so yes we were in the hospital at the same time. My spouse had to have another surgery 9 days later which Dr. Goldstrich… performed. I've moved on to cancer specialists, but my husband is still under Dr. Goldstrich's care and is recovering nicely. There is a 3rd surgery in his future in a couple of months and we would never allow another doctor to perform that surgery except Dr. Goldstrich. My husband says, "through all we've been through and are going through currently Dr. Goldstrich is THE doctor he trusts with our care period".
