It's necessary to warn everyone who is going to contact this "specialist". This is not just a mistake, but a deliberate disregard for all existing records and common sense. At the time of the consultation, the "specialist" had ALL the necessary examination results on hand: MRI reports, X-rays, medical history, opinions of other specialists from the same field) surgeons, pain management doctors, physical therapy specialists). Everything clearly pointed to a specific diagnosis, confirmed repeatedly. However, this "specialist" Auerbach decided to ignore absolutely everything: documents, clinical history, clinical picture, and even recommendations from colleagues. Instead of a reasonable diagnosis, I was told some meaningless nonsense that has nothing to do with reality. Mistakes happen to everyone- this is normal. But not in this case. This is a demonstrative stupidity, disregard for facts, common sense and human health. Seeing such a doctor is a health risk.

I was injured at work and sent to see Dr Auerbach. He was working for the insurance company as an IME. He was very professional and kind. He did a full evaluation of my injury being very mindful to cause me no further pain. He prepared his opinion and sent it to workers comp, my Dr and myself. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this Dr. I would use him for a Dr outside the comp system. Carl G. Albany NY.

Comes off as friendly but doesn't care just wants his $20'000 workmans comp gives him to lie through his teeth for ime.Very dirty.Got 30 page report of lies.Told me I'm lazy & just want to be on welfare.Glad my hubby was with me because I was very uncomfortable. Hes your typical snake in grass wc dr.I wouldn't let him do surgery on a dummy. HE gave me creeps.Told me I was fat & lazy.Its ok they get to insult you but you have to stay quiet.Also said I was addicted to drugs.This guy is corrupt beware & record your ime.Ladies becareful he stared at my chest whole time Ugh

Act like he cares.Gave him my MRI & just threw it on desk.Paid alot of money by workmans comp to lie through there teeth.Corrupt just like politicians.Ill probably get a 30 page review of all lies.Dont trust any dr for an ime there not your friend neither are nurses that harrass uou.

Paid alot of money to see you 10 minutes. THen write a 30 page review of all lies.Tells you that you are lazy & trys to aggravate you.I felt very uncomfortable when he examined me thank God my hubby was there with me.Very unprofessional & dirty.Hes supposedly licensed in pa,ny & Missouri. I wouldn't let him operate on my cat or anyone else.Good luck with an ime with him.Workmans comp is a corrupt insurance company & so are these so called crooked doctors.

This dr. cherry picks what to include in the report. He will go on at length about a dr you saw for 10 minutes who provided no treatment and use a fake quote but not mention your main condition once. He is passive aggressive though suspiciously friendly when he introduces himself and would make a great villainous attorney attacking your case for the carrier. He made me sound like it is all in my head and when he dodn' t omit vital info or focus on irrelevant or false info, literally made things up. He tried to persuade me not to record, neglected to ask for my MRI disc the first time, my paperwork the second which I was sent prior to the exam. He says I can lift 50 lbs and a gallon of milk over a block or 2 throws my back out of whack. Please protect yourself. Bring a witness and also record him. Hopefully your lawyer can prove you are in fact injured.

I was referred and I am elated about his knowledge and expertise in his area of orthopedics. He ascertained me similar to an encyclopedia and I will no longer walk around in pain or have the tingling and numbing that radiates from my shoulder through my arm wrist and my fingers. My cervical pain will finally go away. You are phenomenal Dr. Auerbach. Deepest gratitude to you and the team at the hospital. If doctors could possess the integrity as you do they would not have to be dishonest to prove their mendacity to insurance companies. Bless your heart and soul. T.C.

Very creatively picked and chose (and minimized) what to include in my worker's comp claim, lied about certain info, gave me a diagnosis in 10 months I had never heard of after a brief exam and speaking with me for 5 minutes. Expected to be screwed over but this jerk acted like he cared. Didn't review my MRI but sure...my herniated disc is not the cause of my pain. Awful if you are on comp, maybe better if you have private insurance; who knows.
