Only am giving this ENT doc 2 stars because of moderately positive experiences in the past. I had visited this doc last year to get a cyst out of my mouth, and he did an excellent job to remove my cyst, and everything healed correctly without further complications. In terms of treating people with inner ear disorders, please help yourself by seeing another ent or a specialist. I was very angry and frustrated over the previous appointment concerning ear problems. I had suffered multiple bouts of hearing loss over a few months and had recently suffered vertigo and balance problems (only at 21 years of age), and so I was in real need of treatment or a referral to someone who could help me, let alone give me a possible explanation for my problems. Forget treatment, I never got any kind of insight or possible diagnoses for what was potentially wrong with my inner ears. All that got reiterated was that I had lost hearing and had balance problems (duh!), and then I was promptly… sent out of the office. What really makes me bitter toward this doctor, however, is his lack of concern for the patient's (in my case wellbeing) comfort and the careless use of procedures that could certainty endanger anyone with an ear disorder. After reporting previous noise damage and very sensitive hearing that could easily be damaged to the doctor, he proceeded to suction out a very mild fungal infection in my ear canal. That contraption was likely as loud as a jet engine, and could most certainty do damage!!! I asked him to do something else, or to please make it stop, but my pleas went unacknowledged. I had severe vertigo that evening and a possible further loss of hearing in that ear. This seems to be on the fringes of malpractice in my opinion. I think I have said enough suggest avoiding this doctor and to go find a more competent professional.
