they want to do as many injections as possible but do not listen , a bully, no longer will prescribe says pain meds don't work long term ! front desk rude.

I have been a patient of Dr. Greenspan for over 2 years, I jut can't say enough good about him and his practice. For the many many doctors I have seen in my 57 years of life. I have never had such a kind and caring doctor. I could be having a terrible day, after talking with Dr. Greenspan I always feel so much better, he has a very calm and soothing voice, he takes time to listen to what I have to say even if it is not pain related. There have been times when I could not make it to his office, every time he has been so understanding and made it possible for me to come on another day. I thank God for putting Dr. Greenspan in my life. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of any type of pain management.

I read those reports and I think he wrote them himself for One needs to trust and this man can't be trusted ,He tells you very little and only wants to deal with Meds you have to pay out of your Pocket and maybe they aren't the Med you just paid for ,I feel that happen to me >

I had been under the care of 2 different pain management companies before I heard of Dr. Greenspan. Each of the other companies/doctors were over prescribing pain meds to me, and even when I asked one of them to take me off a certain medication he was very rude and refused to do it, which is what brought me to Dr. Greenspan. I have been through 25 major surgeries and about 15 day surgeries.My pain issues have made it so that my combined doctors have deemed me totally disabled and wasout of work for about 4 years which qualified me for S.S.Disability, however I prefer to be a productive part of society. When I first met Dr. Greenspan, I was treated with respect, he was fully informed on my medical information and listened to what my wishes were and we came up with a plan of decreasing certain medications and changing some others. Because of the complexity of my case it took a little experimentation of changing medications around until we finally found the perfect combination to… the point were I was able to return to work though not totally pain free, I was at least comfortable. Since being under Dr. Greenspan's care I have had to undergo a number of major surgeries in which adjustments to medications had to be made but as the pain reduced, we were immediately back to the previous combination. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Greenspan for he has always shown great care in my pain management and has always listened to me and my wishes and if not for him, I don't believe I would be able to put in a days work as a construction worker. Dr Greenspan cared for my elderly landlady for whom I was also caregiver. She was in a lot of pain every day and could be difficult but he never showed anything but patience and understanding. When I was dealing with my own debilitating chronic pain I knew he was the obvious choice. He has been so professional and combines professionalism with just the right amount of compassion. I very much like how the clinic holds patients responsible -- monthly visits, drug screenings, terms of agreements and mandatory copays. To me this is a marker of a responsible clinic that doesn't just hand out pills willy nilly and cares about the growing opioid problem. My only complaint would be that he will absolutely not consider medical marijuana. Not that big of a deal, as of course I am free to leave his care and seek alternate care -- but I won't, because I'd rather be under his care and forego the MM. Excellent doctor and fantastic staff too.

My husband and I retired from the the United States Air Force after 26 years of service. During this time we transferred from one place to another and I always had to start over again with a new doctor, and from scratch having to go through the entire process over and over again. Even though I had already had all of the test injections and all of the other diagnostic testing done I had to start this process again and again and again. I've dealt with horrible debilitating pain for nearly 12 years on medications that even though it took the edge off the pain did not completely give me the life that I've been dying to have and nobody should live like that, where when they get out of bed every morning they'd cry for hrs because of the pain. For thoes who know that dealing with pain, knows it does something to you psychologically where you feel emotionally broken, a part of you is no longer there, it changes you.. and it not only changes you on the inside, but on the outside as well. I… gained weight and felt like I was no longer a productive member of my family, always in pain and never wanting to go anywhere, I became antisocial (I'd always be the life of the party so to speak, a fun and happy shell of the person I'd become) My daily life routinely consisted of me waking up, crying for a few hrs because of the pain, laying on numerous bags of solid ice packs until my back was completely numbed up, rubbing a compound cream all over my back as soon as I could find a family member to do so, and take my daily medication. It was then that I was able to get up, and start my day but always with limitation. After meeting Dr. Joshua Greenspan at the American Pain Institute he completely got it, he was ready to take on the challenge and help me in anyway possible, I wasn't just a number to him. It wasn't until we did the trial for the spinal cord stimulator that I knew this would change my life, and as scared as I was I had to give it a shot.The representative for this process was a guy named Johnny, and he too was so amazing that during my trial I received a phone call from him daily asking how I was doing if I needed any help, walking me through the steps on the procedure, answering all my questions at any time of day... Who does this? I've never had a person there for me, walking me through everything at any time to help me.. For the first time ever, I didn't feel like I was doing this by myself or just another number to them. I felt as if I had the best support system available, and it gave me a complete sense of relief and feeling that there's a light at the end of my tunnel. After dealing with this horrible feeling for so long and a less then desirable life. I felt as if I finally had the answers that I was looking for. Dr. Joshua Greanspan and the American Pain Institute are one of the best if not the best physicians and Clinic that I have gone to in the last 12 years since my accident. I moved around in the military from one place to another and starting over so many times, people treat you differently when they hear your in pain, as if it's just about finding medication, especially when you look good on the outside at 33 but feel like your 90 on the inside, even family and friends couldn't understand my pain. Dr. Joshua greanspan understood where I was coming from he knew my pain, and we together came up with a treatment plan to help possible get the old me back, to get off these stereotype opioids that people would judge me on. I'm so excited to announce that I have an appointment with the Nurosurgon to begin the process of finally being freed from the old life and slowly begin my journey back to who I use to be. If your looking to change your life and looking for a doctors office that truly cares about their patients, look no further. I'd highly recommend Dr Greanspan and don't listen to just me, find out for yourself and make that call, get Your referral, It will change the way you think about Dr Offices. I drive an hour each way to go see them, it's definitely worth a visit for anyone reading this. Tracey W.

He wrote for wrong med then wouldn't fix his mess up

I read some of these comments and can't believe there could be one negative comment about Dr. Greenspan. I love going to the office and seeing a friendly caring face the minute I walk through the door. They address me by name, which I love because it tells me that they know their patients and care about them. I see Dr. Greenspan every time I'm there, which you would never see in any other clinic. You are not passed around to a different people, you always see the doctor himself. He is caring and kind and knows exactly the best treatment for me. He listens to me and explains every thing I have questions about. I feel respected with Dr. Greenspan and with this type of care, that is very important to me. I would never go to anyone else and I would recommend anyone that needed an excellent pain care doctor to Dr. Greenspan. The people with the negative comments most likely didn't follow what's expected of them and didn't follow his care the way they should have. If you want a professional… doctor that cares about you and your issues, he's the only one to see.

Since moving from Wyoming to NH in 2007 after an ATV accident fractured 4 vertebrae and ruptured half a dozen disk...I was referred to Dr Greenspan. He has been extremely supportive to not only me, but, my family. Over the years as my health has diminished Dr Greenspan has helped with SCS and lowered my daily pain meds by 3/4 of what I had been taking. I have twin 18 year Olds who have watched Dr Greenspan in person and both are pursuing medical degrees in Anesthesia and then focusing on pain management in cancer patients. I would continue to support Dr Greenspan in whatever he chooses to do to help my ongoing chronic pain!
