Dr. Joshua Lee Hill, MD

I had a foot fusion surgery in 2012 by a podiatrist in Bloomington IN that did not go well. So a year later I saw a different podiatrist in the same city, different hospital, & he said the surgery wasn’t done correctly so he fixed it to where I could walk, but not without some pain. I have very flat feet & over the years that left foot started causing me more & more pain. So a in home healthcare nurse who was seeing my husband at the time recommended I see Dr. Joshua Hill in Corydon IN. I just took her for her word, saw him & on April 12, 2022 let him do surgery. It was a 3 hour surgery to remove the broken hardware from the previous surgeries. Then he added new hardware. It was a long 3 months before I was allowed to starts putting weight on the foot. My last follow up appointment with him was August 2022. I never liked his bedside manner. He would never tell me what I needed to do or what he wanted me to do. I had to ask the questions. He just seemed aloof! Then I received a call… from his office cancelling my October appointment telling me he would be out until January 2023. I tried seeing other podiatrists but none of them would take me because they didn’t perform the surgery. So on January 2nd I called to make an appointment & was told Dr Hill may not be back until March, if then. So I had his staff refer me to a podiatrist at U of L podiatry in Louisville KY. Saw that doctor yesterday & was told the surgery Dr Hill performed was not done properly, that it’s about 1/4-1/2 inch too low in my foot. So he recommended I try a brace, something I was trying to avoid by having the surgeries. I’m soon to be 73 years old & love being outside tending to my landscaping but I fear now I won’t be able to do that anymore. Stay away from Dr Joshua Hill & other podiatrists & seek out a qualified surgeon. I wish I had it to do all over again & I would do more research before letting unqualified doctors touch me.

DR HILL PERFORMED SURGERY ON MY RIGHT FOOT 2 YEARS AGO WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE. HE REPAIRED A SO CALLED PERONEAL TENDON TEAR. AND A MORTONS NEUROMA. AFTER MY FIRST SURGERY I HAD NECROSIS AND MY TISSUE DIED AND I ENDED UP WITH A HOLE IN MY FOOT. IT WOULD NOT HEAL AND IT ENDED UP HOLLOWING OUT, AND MY TENDON FELL APART AND FELL THROUGH THIS HOLE. I HAD TO HAVE A SECOND SURGERY ON MY FOOT WHICH IN END TOOK BOTH MY TENDONS TO MAKE ONE SMALL TENDON, WHICH RUINED MY FOOT. I ALWAYS HAVE PAIN, HORRIBLE RANGE OF MOTION. I CANNOT EVER RUN AGAIN, OR CAN I WALK FOR LONG DISTANCE. I STILL HAVE HORRIBLE PAIN IN MY FOOT WHERE THE NEUROMA WAS REMOVED IT MADE IT WORSE. I STILL HAVE A STRESS FRACTURE ON TOP OF MY FOOT THAT WILL NOT HEAL DUE TO HOW I WALK NOT BECAUSE OF MY MESSED UP TENDON. I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. I WISH A THOUSAND TIMES I DID NOT LET THIS MAN TOUCH MY FOOT. MY LIFE HAS BEEN RUINED. DO NOT LET THIS MAN TOUCH YOU. I ALWAYS GOT ANSWERS LIKE I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS… BEFORE. AND WE WILL DO WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE IT BETTER. HE NEVER HELPED ME TRY TO IMPROVE MY FOOT, HE DID NOT EVER CHECK UP ON ME IF I WAS A DR AND I DID SOMETHING LIKE THAT I WOULD DO ALL I COULD TO HELP THAT PERSON. AGAIN MY LIFE IS RUINED BECAUSE OF HIM.

DR HILL DID MY DAUGHTERS FOOT SURGERY AND IT IS WORSE THAN IT WAS BONES DID NOT FUSE TOGETHER AND SCREWS HE PUT IN ARE NOT ATTACHED TO NOTHING -SURGERY WILL HAVE TO BE REDONE

He did ankle surgery on my husband and he did a wonderful job! I would recommend him to anyone who has broken their ankle!! In less than 2 weeks after surgery his ankle looks better than we thought. The nurses in his office are very great as well they make you feel comfortable and are very helpful! Keep uo the great work guys!!

Josh Hill has messed up my life for almost 3 years now. How is he still practicing?? And his operations are purely practice on victims. I thought he was "high" on drugs at each visit. I still have nightmares of the experience.

Dr. Hill gave me several options for treatment of a ganglion cyst located behind my ankle. very professional and down to earth doctor, took the time to explain the procedure to myself and wife. Best decision made was having it removed. I recommend Dr Hill and will return with any other concerns with me or anyone in my family and friends!!

I'm still recovering from a botched ankle surgery from Nov 2017! Lexington Podiatry (who sent me to Hill) took x-rays afterwards and said they have no clue as to why he did the procedure that was performed. My next doctor (an orthopedic surgeon) is still trying to fix the broken foot. He had to remove everything Hill botched and start over. Don't see a podiatrist to perform surgery!!! Go directly to an orthopedic surgeon. A chiropractor would have done a better job than Hill!
