Dr. Joshua Aaron Knappenberger, MD

My spinal cord was punctuated with the pain meds injection. The meds went in to my spinal cord in my neck. I don’t know what I would have done without him. The Doctor in my town told me the damage “ would just go away “. I contacted Dr Knappenberger in Bozeman. It takes me an hour and forty minutes to get to Bozeman. It’s been four years. He has helped me find the best medication for me. Every time I see him he treats as if it’s my very first visit. I wouldn’t be feeling so much better with out him. There is not enough words to thank him.

My entire opinion of MDs changed my first appointment. He never once made me feel less than. He seemed to genuinely care about what I was concerned with. He was able to diagnose a condition my first neurologist blew off. He took the time to investigate and has been amazing through this unpleasant time in my life.

Dr. Knappenberger and his nurse are very professional, but have great bedside manner. I feel valued as a patient despite a busy schedule, and know that I am taken seriously as a patient. Treatment options are laid out in a clear manner. Checking in is not so great, as there is little room for privacy during the check-in process.

Dr. Knappenberger, is one of the more caring and professional doctors I have ever seen. He takes the time to be thorough, he asks questions, he is intuitive and knows when something is bothering a patient more than they like to admit. Pleasant, calm demeanor creates a very comfortable environment for the patient to be real and honest. Truly, if you are lucky enough to get in to see him, don't skip your appointment. He is a great doctor!
