Has not responded for over a week to the pharmacy's calls or my calls about a refill for medication I must take everyday

Evidently, he's gotten better than when I saw him as a patient, but I saw him for non-medical counseling around 2006-2007 while he was still in NYC, doing his residency and/or fellowship at NYU Medical. I don't know what his problem was, but when I saw him, I found he was often arrogant, patronizing, and dismissive. Often, he ended up making me feel worse about myself. When I finally challenged him on it after several months, he apologized for "being too hard on me" - I guess he'd decided to take an antagonistic approach. I know therapists aren't supposed to OK everything you say to them, but this was ridiculous and I felt like I had to justify everything I said to the point that I found that I was filtering the things I'd say to him to avoid having to argue with him or justify myself. End of the day, despite his apology and begging of me not to stop our work together, I realized I'd already lost so much confidence in him, that there was no real purpose in continuing to seek his… counsel.
