Dr. Joshua Prentiss Light, MD

My husband was booked with the nurse practitioner, she was pleasant and we had no complaints, however the person/persons that answer the phone and take appointments need training, I have spoken to two different people for appointments, both sounded like there were asleep, did not speak clearly, and sounded like they did not want to speak to anyone and they were being inconvenienced. The person that answers the phone sets the tone and if they worked for me they would be gone!

Purchased Siemens/Signa hearing aids in NC. Moved to Palm Beach and needed adjustment to hearing aid. Told they could do it so I called. They insisted have hearing aid test. Had the test. Then had hearing aids adjusted. They didn’t have the proper equipment to adjust the hearing aids properly. Within an hour of leaving the office, I realized they had eliminated the ‘off’ button. Had to make another appointment. Off button was reinstalled. Again, within an hour of leaving the office, there were problems. Had to make another appointment. When I arrived for the 3rd appointment, they told me I’d be charged another $100 for the adjustment. I told them, ‘no you won’t’. They made the adjustment but the tech had trouble closing the battery door and had to force it closed. Within a day, that hearing aid gave me trouble with intermittent reception. When I opened the battery door, a piece fell out. I called my New Bern, NC audiologist, told him what had been going on. He said to… send the hearing aid and the broken part up to him. As I suspected, the battery door was broken and needed to be replaced. It was repaired and the unit serviced (no charge) and sent back to me within 24 hours. It would have been cheaper for me to fly up to NC to get the initial adjustment than to play the money game with this organization.

Needed a neuro-otologist and was thrilled that Dr. Light, who operated on me 15 years ago, has this sub-specialty! He "called b.s." on everything I had been told before, and cut through all the confusion and argumentation I had experienced. I was really ready to give up prior to seeing Dr. Light! If you are ready to give up, as well, please see Dr. Light. He really knows the science of otolaryngology.

Highly recommend this practice. In addition to professional staff, this office has awesome front office personnel. Bianca, in particular, was extremely helpful. Thank you, Bianca.

Dr. light and his staff are very informative . His honesty and caring for my situation made feel comfortable. He turned an unpleasant situation into a tolerable one. His staff and Office are impeccable.

I have had 4 previous nasal procedures and this was the best experience i ever had. It was very thorough and informative step by step from the initial consultation to the actual surgery . I also received post related steps to make sure they do not return as quickly. The next day i had no complications such as nasal drips and I can breather better, smell better and think clearer. Many congrdulations to both staffs.

I went to DR. Light after suddenly going deaf in one ear. Because the wait to see him would be 3 weeks i visited another well qualified ent MD who after giving me noise rinses, and a CAT scan told me to get a hearing aid. Not happy I tried another ENT who put me on steroids which had no effect and he too then told me there was nothing he could do. I finally got to see DR Light. After looking in my ear he said I had dead skin that had sloughed off in my ear and was blocking my ear drum. After quickly removing the dead skin my hearing completely returned. I cannot stop raving about this doctor!!!!!!

Dr. Light and his staff are awesome. He did sinus surgery on my husband. I would highly recommend Dr. Light and his staff.

I couldn't be more thrilled with the results of my sinus surgery performed by Dr. Joshua Light. For many years I have suffered and dealt with chronic sinus infections and an abundance of mucus. After having the sinus surgery, performed in the office, I am happy to report that my symptoms have been relieved and I am discomfort and infection free. I feel better that I have in years! I am also ecstatic to report that in the first time, in five years, my sense of smell has completely returned! Thank you, Dr. Light, for your expertise, great care and kindness to me. Had a balloon sinuplasty. The procedure and the outcome was better than I expected. Dr. Light and his staff made me feel very comfortable., from the first appointment to the follow-up after the procedure, everything was very smooth. Totally recommend Dr. Light to everyone.
