Been seeing Dr Vogel for over 10 years. Wouldn’t consider changing. He is always thorough And kind and provides excellent care.

Dr. Vogel was the dr on call when I went into labor with my first baby. It was a horrible experience, he is rude and doesn’t care about the patient. Don’t let him deliver your baby!!!!! I had to see him 6 weeks after delivery and I mentioned to him I wanted a IUD. I returned two weeks later and he inserted wrong. I was in a lot of pain and he was just careless when removing it.

I felt horrible after my visit with Dr. Vogel. He didn't discuss anything about my reproductive organs with me. The only thing he was concerned with was my weight. He is NOT my primary care doctor, and I felt that his negativity about my weight was uncalled for. He suggested that I have to go to weight watchers or pay for a meal replacement plan because I need to lose weight. I'm sorry but I don't think that has ANYTHING to do with the pap smear he was supposed to be doing! He knew nothing of my health history- or the fact that I had recently taken off over 20 lbs! He made the ridiculous comment that to maintain my weight I HAVE to consume at least 3000 to 4000 calories a day. Crazy! I would not send my dog to this so called doctor.

Dr. Vogel delivered my son in 2005 and he was my physician throughout our stay in Wilmington. He is an excellent physician with a great bedside manner. He is a compassionate doctor, a great listener, and a genuinely caring obgyn. He spends the necessary time with his patients. I highly recommend him.

I did not like Dr. Vogel from my first doctor visit but knew the reality was that he could be the one on call to deliver my second baby, so my husband tried to ease my concerns about him. He ended up indeed being the doc on call, and the nurses first response after talking to him was that they had to tell him that I lived far from the hospital because he was trying to send me home. I had my daughter 5 hours after getting there, so I am pretty sure the nurses as well as myself knew it was time. When he got there he was very robotic, had no bedside manner at all, did not tell me anything that was going on (my daughter was losing oxygen), and was also then rude to my husband. He did what was expected which was deliver my baby, but not much else.

Excellent doctor - extremely intuitive with great bedside manner - delivered my son 7 years ago and am greatful that he was the doctor on call at that time.

Horrible bedside manner-very negative-spent all his time typing on laptop. Will never go to him again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vogel for almost 5 years. He is an excellent listener and he cares a great deal about his patients. I highly recommend this physician.
