Dr. Josif Stakic, MD

Dr. Stakic was late for 30 minutes for my virtual visit. He did not show any courtesy or did neither mention he was sorry nor apologize for making a patient me wait for 30 minutes. And this was my first visit with him (I have waited 3 months). I postponed my another important business meeting for this virtual mecial appointment, so I could not complete this medial appointment and asked for his help in scheduling another appointment as soon as possible. He did not seem to want to help. Other doctors were not like this person as I have met many different doctors for my illness. He does not have to be sympathetic to his patient, but a doctor should be respectful of his patient's time and their conditions as much as theirs.

He was the first dr that actually listened to what I said, gave me my options and thoroughly explained them all. He called me himself on 2 occasions, once to return a call to answer questions I had and another time to give me test results and discuss our next move. He spent a good 15 min on the phone with me explaining everything. I went from 5-6 migraines a week to 1-2 a month, if that. Would recommend him to anyone having headache issues.

After an appointment spent with this man who didn't hear a single word I had to say, I decided it was time to seek treatment elsewhere. He was determined to try all the same treatments that previously failed. He was very unprofessional in his attitude and was careless in his handling of medication.

Avoid at all costs. Not only he prescribes you dangerous medications which aren't meant to treat your condition but doesn't bother even to review your MRI scan when something serious is found in the report. You have to keep begging other doctors you go to for that. He is dangerously careless.

Abrupt, did not listen.. I have had migraines for decades and he ignored any attempts that I raised to discussed prior treatments. Will not go back to him.

Dr. Stakic spent generous time with me but did not believe the diagnosis that other doctors had suggested. He was reluctant to read my chart.

Please, don't use this maniac. He will prescribe you all kind of pills that you don't need with all kind of dangerous side effects... He doesn't even check to see what is really wrong with you first.

Waited over 2 hours to see him did not state to follow up after starting new med with manny side effects
