Dr. Joy Kim, MD

Dr. Kim is a great doctor, she understand at best of patient care, what would benefit. people shouldn't be too quick about judging, to misjudging good doctor's like Dr. Kim. I enjoyed her care, and I am in good care compare other doctors I've had in the past.

I don't care for Dr. Kim. She never directly speaks with her patients and always has her "assistant" communicate in between. She also neglected to provide me correct information on a member policy regarding my care, instead simply telling me (or rather, her "assistant") that she doesn't know what to do and can't help. She was not aware of Kaiser's visiting member policy (so that I may receive services in a different state) so don't expect her to have that knowledge. I was having some very pressing concerns and if she had a modicum of awareness of her own employer's policies I would have saved a lot of grief and panic.

Dr.Kim didn't listen to me or my daughter she was my granddaughters dr my granddaughter wasn't growing she was 5MO old and had eczema really bad my daughter asked the Dr if it could be leaky gut she read about it on an excema baby page the Dr said only old people got it and said her son had eczema and she was normal well we took her there for months and she stayed the same size of a 5MO old at every weigh in and I was really really concerned but Dr Kim kept making excuses that its normal for kids with eczema to not grow but she wasn't eating well either and Dr Kim said it was cause she was sore due to her eczema ..she ended up in the hospital at 9mo with dehydration I was really scared my granddaughter was dying but Dr Kim didn't seem concerned..now she said just feed her what she wants she said now to put weight on her..but my granddaughter just threw it up or wouldn't eat..now she's 10MO old and we took her to another Dr in Roseville and my granddaughter was immediately hospitalized… with failure to thrive due to leaky gut and food allergies she was in the hospital for 3 weeks. Could have died if we stayed seeing Dr Kim I can't believe this woman didn't see this especially when I and my daughter ..mother and ex husband kept saying something was not right but my daughter being a new mom listened to her because the Dr's son had eczema..I blame Dr Kim for my Granddaughters situation she is an awful Dr she should have done something the first time or second time she saw no growth on her growth chart .now she is trying to blame my Daughter shame on you Dr Kim I was there I took my daughter to my granddaughters appointments I told you if she ended up in the hospital it was your fault and she did and it is
