Dr. Joy Hechanova Pineda, MD

Dr. Pineda is an outstanding physician. She takes the time to talk to you and understand your concerns. She's personable and does not talk above your head.

Dr. Pineda is a very good doctor. She spends quailty time with her patients and her staff do follow up calls.

Doctor seems okay in her office. However, she does not care her patient as a doctor should. Once I had a follow up per her order. However, when I arrived in her office, she did not know why I was there. After telling her what brought me there, she started to read my medical record, then told me that do not worry that my test results were normal. I paid for the visit just for hearing her telling the results, which can be done over the phone.Her office staff are very rude. They do not keep their promise of "call you tomorrow to let you know the results". They frequently make mistakes on filing claim to insurance. Twice, they filed the claim of the service the doctor did not provide. Finally, I had enough and change the doctor.The staff in Fallen Timbers Family Physicians are money driven -- all they care about is money but not patient.

Dr. Pineda missed my disease for years, despite the fact that I saw her 13 times in 1 year. I was under other doctors' care when I lived in another city, and she dismissed their records and everything I told her. In fact, when she finally had "time" to look at my chart, she had the audacity to say, "Huh, you've been sick for over 10 years?!" When she was stumped, she didn't admit it or refer me to anyone. Her lack of care and knowledge was negligent and I will pay for it with very expensive treatments for the rest of my life.

She's awesome. She's my inspiration. I am going to pursue a career in the medical field because of her. However, the staff is fairly rude.

This Dr. is wonderful and very caring but it is very difficult to get through the staff, adn sometimes they are not overly courteous

Dr. Pineda has a great bedside manner. The staff are generally rude and uncaring. Sometimes have to wait 15-20 on the phone just to speak with someone. Messages left are not returned in a timely manner. Not sure my problem has been correctly diagnosed, still suffering, changing doctors due to this and rude staff.
