Dr. Joy Lynn Touchstone, MD

I had high hopes for my care with Dr. Joy Touchstone. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Over the course of four months, I encountered significant delays and communication issues related to a concerning nodule. Despite my repeated requests, Dr. Touchstone did not facilitate the necessary peer-to-peer communication with my insurance, which ultimately hindered the approval of an MRI that was critical for my health assessment. Additionally, there were delays in responses to my messages, and crucial information was not communicated to the insurance company, which caused unnecessary stress and delays in my care. I value competent, compassionate, and timely care. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Touchstone did not meet these standards, and I hope that this feedback encourages improvements for future patients.

Dr. Touchstone takes the time to listen to what is going on and does anything she can to help!

I made an appt with Dr. Touchstone because of an infection of the sinus and throat area. A lesson to everyone, don't ever hold in a sneeze when you are eating popcorn because it can cause a most painful result that can turn into something else. The most important outcome here was I came to trust a woman, Dr. Touchstone, who looked me in the eyes and told me what we were going to do. She also gave me instructions on what to do after the round of antibiotics, to contact her office. All in all, I'd definitely be going back to Dr. Touchstone if I were on the same insurance plan and I'm crying that I can't move her to my new plan. She was wonderful and I felt so comfortable around her. From my experience it is not normal to be able to talk to a doctor so freely because most doctors give you the impression they are too pressed for time to even look you in the eyes. Dr. Touchstone was attentive and it was appreciated.

Dr Touchstone is awesome but her office staff are the reason I changed providers. They do not return phone calls, confuse messages and leave out important details. I feel for Dr T because she is losing patients because of her staff.
