Dr. Joy Lynne Welsh, MD

I finally got an appointment that I had to wait months to get. I had a bad rash and skin ulcers that were getting worse over time and they burned. I had been to the E.R., and my family doctor. So I was ready to get the advice of an "expert". Wrong thinking!! When I got there the office staff was very nice. Dr. Walsh came in like a whirlwind. She handled my lady bits very roughly! She said that my skin ulcers we're healing, took some blood for tests, and said there was nothing wrong at the time. I even offered to show her pictures as I had been keeping a photo diary. She just ignored that, and left as fast as she came into the appointment. Then I get a call that my blood work was all normal and there's nothing more she could do. I was fine and everything was normal. I offered to show the pictures again and hoped for a biopsy. She said it wasn't necessary. Wrong again!!! I had to wait additional months for an appointment with a dermatologist. So glad I finally got a… doctor who actually cares about her patients. She took a biopsy the very first te I saw her, and looked at the photos besides my problem areas. When the test results came back; it turns out I have Inverse Psoriasis that affects the groinal area. Very very painful!! She got me on the correct meds and we're currently treating the problem. Dr. Walsh is NO professional, nor does she care about her patients!! Don't recommend on an EPIC scale!

I came to see Dr. Welsh after I was mostly recovered from a hysterectomy, but still experiencing painful sex. During the pelvic exam, Dr. Welsh was very abrupt and very Rough. She did not give me any kind of verbal cues before inserting her hand or instruments into my vagina. The whole exam was very painful and I was trying to hold back tears. At one point she left the room with a heavy metal speculum hanging out of my vagina, and came back a few minutes later and treated me with a silver nitrate treatment (to burn off granulated tissue) without even getting my consent first. She also missed the fact that I had a pretty severe infection.

Would not take me since I have Medicare. I said I could pay cash. They still refused to see me. Very sad that they denied me and I still don’t understand

Dr. Welsh is very good doctor she listen and very personable and very kind also , she takes care of me and Mom , i feel very comfortable around her and i tell her anything and not being shy about it. I am so glad that i found her.

Have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Welsh. I tell all of my friends to go to her. Her bedside manner is top notch...she really listens and takes the time to talk to you, she doesn't just rush through the appointment so she can get to the next patient. She's easy to talk to because she's so down to earth and she really cares.

Dr. Welsh really cares about her patients. Excellent in following up with patients to review diagnostic reports.

This doctor is an incompetent uncaring lady.

I went to Dr Joy Welch for my yearly check up.I was impressed with the Dr and her staff. I left feeling like I had answers to to questions and actually knew what she was talking about.
