Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I found nursing, pregnancy and childbirth fascinating. I want the experience to be a good and positive one for my patients and their families. I want to support my patients so they feel confident in their healthcare choices. What I want my patients to know about me:My educational background started in sociology and intercultural studies before I studied midwifery. I believe in living healthy in all aspects of life. Patients need to have information about their healthcare, and I want to be the person to give them the tools, knowledge and encouragement they need to make decisions that are best for their lives. Patients are a part of the process, we are a team.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I have a daughter, who is now two years old. My time is happily spent with my child guiding her growth and development. It has been the most fulfilling and interactive experience of my life. I enjoy cooking and preparing healthy (but tasty) food, …gardening and being outdoors. I also enjoy bird watching.
