Dr. Joyce Argelia Noriega, MD

I never leave reviews but felt that I would be doing others a disservice in not doing so. I had severe preeclampsia towards the end of my pregnancy. I gained 25lbs in the last two weeks and had systolic blood pressures at home in the 160’s. I left several messages to Dr. Noriega on the patient portal regarding my concerns, all of which were left unanswered. I work in healthcare and other providers urged me to go into her office to get blood pressure checks, telling me I was in danger of developing further complications. Dr. Noriega belittled her nurse for sending me to labor and delivery when I did go in. She responded to texts from her husband while I was pushing. My experience with her ultimately led my husband to decide it would be unsafe for me to have another child because of his distrust in healthcare. Avoid Dr. Noriega at all costs.

They are my kind of doctors and doctor office shes not judgemental and she is quick and gets her job done and even when it seems so serious she makes sure u know its nothing she cant handle. She shows compassion and i love her staff

My wife is ESL but she was treated baldly & unfairly by Joyce Noriega, MD OB/GYN. The doctor & her staff are very rude and unprofessional. We tried to file a complaint or to understand the reason for the doctor treatment but no one care from Rober St Francis as well.

She has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. She refused to take any of my concerns seriously and would laugh me off. Never explained anything to me even when I asked questions.

Dr. Noriega has a shocking lack of bedside manner. Poor communicator, rude and arrogant, and even combative.

I am not the type to leave reviews. I probably wouldn't even leave a restaurant a review, but I honestly felt obliged. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO DR. NORIEGA! I have never experienced such an insulting and condescending physician. Dr. Noriega acted as if I was a waste of her time. She made a mockery of my questions and concerns, by answering with phrases like just take some motrin and look on youtube if you want to understand the menstrual cycle better and just have rigorous sex to help get rid of your 7cm ovarian cyst. She performed an unnecessary pelvic exam, and she refused to explain to me why it was necessary after asking multiple times. She just acted like it was a dumb question. (even though we already had the results of the ultrasound and she had already diagnosed it.) When doing the pelvic exam I told her multiple times that she was hurting me. She replied, "well this would be awkward if you were comfortable." and continued pushing on the side of my ovarian cyst until… I spoke loudly with tears in my eyes and said, "PLEASE STOP you're hurting me!" She finally stopped, took off her gloves, and just said, "well it's still there. you're good to go to the front office and they'll get you a follow up appointment." and she just left while I laid back holding my stomach in pain. I could not believe she would try busting my 7cm ovarian cyst with her finger especially with me being in so much pain, that she would leave the room without even checking on me, and that she thought I would ever go to a follow up appointment with her. PS. there were also a lot of other inappropriate things that she did and said that I feel were personal and also just too much to share. So please just trust me and go to another physician. Also, check Dr. Noriega's reviews on other sites as well. (I wish I had.) She has reviews that are unbelievable including leaving placentas in people, performing poor c-sections that had to have follow up surgeries, negligence incidents, and multiple comments of referencing the internet for information. These are all based on reviews, but her overall ratings on review sites are shocking.

Great office staff. Great nurses. I felt welcome and at ease.

After delivering my 3rd child I had a lot of bleeding and knew something wasn't right. I made 4 different appts. to only be told it was normal. Dr. Noriega was rude. I felt rushed and I was a nuisance to her. I practically begged for ultrasounds to make sure no placenta was left behind. She laughed and hurried me out the door. Few days later while driving I heard a pop and blood was pouring out between my legs. I was blacking out as I pulled in my driveway. I crawled through front door and called 911. My husband was in shock by all the blood. I was given fluids at an emergency clinic. The drs. couldnt stop the bleeding. I was then brought to St. Roper where another dr. who was affiliated w Noriega's didn't examine me and refused to give me an ultrasound when I asked. She told me it was just my period. I was furious but, nothing I could do. 2 wks. later while showering I passed 2 huge pieces of placenta. Considering her office was closed because it was a weekend I put the placenta in a… jar in a paper bag in the fridge till Monday rolled around. I walked in her office on Mon. w my paper bag and plopped it on the counter. I demanded to see Noriega immediately and I made it be known for all her patients and staff that I almost bled to death due to her negligence. Noriega hurried me back in a room and quickly examined my specimen. Only then did she give me an ultrasound where it should huge amounts of placenta. She left and came back with some giant tongs like I was in some third world country. I refused her tongs and left with my records and had a dnc at the hospital. Stay away from this practice!!!

WORST DOCTOR EVER. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

No kidding, I waited 1.5Hrs to see doc. She was in & out within 5 minutes. I was made to feel that my concerns were almost ridiculous & she was in a quick hurry to get to other patients. Never going here again. My first doctor visit in 3.5 yrs, and this is why!
