Dr. Juan Carlos Garcia, MD

Dr Garcia is very knowledgeable and explains what is wrong in terms I can understand. He is very caring and an overall excellent doctor and person.

Another rude receptionist answering the phone. We are out of options. Please make sure that your receptionist is retrained and that she learns how to be civil and courteous with patients. The rude receptionist is his wife. Another doctor that allows his wife to treat his potential patients horribly. Please be advised that this doctor is retiring soon therefore his attention will be limited.

First good impressions but one year check-up late last year was dissapointing. Dr. Garcia is a good doctor but his receptionist and assistant are moody, uncaring and rude. The office was disorganized and office dynamic was unpleasant. I paid co-payments at time of visit and HMO paid. Two months later received bill for unpaid amount. Had to call billing office and HMO. Faxed my receipts and HMO payment information. Finally, billing informed the dr’s office failed to record my co-payments. Never experienced this situation with doctors’ offices. Needless to say, I will not return

Would not recommend. He had a long laundry list of tests he "would like to do at some point" and made me feel like he was all about sucking up the insurance. I did not feel comfortable with him trying to pressure me into tests I felt were unnecessary. He was more interested in pushing tests than what I had to say.

Dr. Garcia is not only a top cardiologist, but a gentleman. He's the kind of doctor that we used to have, where time is not important and the clock is not the ruler of the visits.
