Dr. Juan B Lopez, MD

Dr. Lopez has cared for me from the age of 2 or 3, along with my 4 siblings and many cousins and other people in the community. He helped with referrals for autism when autism was not very well known, he recognized ear problems and speech problems early also. My son now sees him and he is 13. When my son was an infant he promptly suspected pyloric stenosis and it was corrected with success. While in the hospital other mothers told me how long it took to get help and recognize the condition. I remember most how he always wanted to know from the child what was going on. He has true compassion. I will admit I had to ask what a lot in my younger years, but not now. It was so cute when my son and nephew had a play Dr. kit and imitated Dr. Lopez's kind mannerism and speech! He always was accessible and knowledgeable with prompt treatment. He cared so much that he would not turn away if co-pay was unattainable. It was a good experience, but as you imagine Dr. visits are not very… pleasant. If I ever mention him all I hear is compliments and is he still practicing? Yes. He always had toys and was sure of sanitation. The nurses were always nice and he seemed to have samples for vital products in the waiting room. His care will forever have an impact on my heart and life along with so many from the community. I loved Dr. Lopez so much. I don't think I will ever have such a great doctor again. I am so sad that I had to move away from his area and unfortunately we are now too far away to see him because he was awesome with my son and so nice to my husband and I. He took time to explain stuff to us and answer our questions. He is one of those rare gems of a doctor who actually cares about you more than his own time. He is so good I just want to take a 'medical vacation' even though he is now three hours away from me just to be seen by him. The best doc in the world!

Very patient oriented. He personally follows up night and day 7 days a week!

Dr. Lopez is awesome. Best doctor I've ever been around -- loves kids, comes in to take special appointments, comes in on Saturdays and Sundays to open his office for my family. Makes us call him at home. He's amazing. The guy must never sleep. Five stars, off the charts!
