You can easily sit in the waiting room watching Dora the Explorer while his office staff acts like you are not there. 90 minutes. Complain about wait time "you need to speak to the Doctor about that". WHEN ??

Very pleased with Dr. Velosa's treatment for our teenage daughter. He takes his time, is very thorough with questions. After seeing some other pediatric psychiatrists in the area we are very happy to have found Dr. Velosa. He does run late alot which is frustrating however the trade-off is that he spends quality time with my daughter and us and he knows his stuff. Highly recommend.

It was a big decision for our family to try medication with our 6 yo. son after exhausting all other non-medication options. Dr. Velosa really listens to what the challenges are; asks the right questions to distinguish something that can be â??fixedâ?? with medication vs. what would be more appropriate to address another way; and takes the time to explain the pros and cons to determine with me the right medication for our son. Combined with the fact he has 25+ years experience, seeing some of his clients through their childhood into adolescence, I believe my son is getting the best care possible. It is true that a typical wait in the office before seeing him is 30-45 minutes, but well worth the wait for the time and attention he gives each one of his clients.

Dr. Velosa is great with kids. I highly recommend him!

Customer service is last in this practice. You will wait over an hour an a half for an appointment and your time and money lost at your job is not a concern to the office but miss one appointment for personal reasons in two yrs and you will be charged 150 dollars. You must provide a stamp and envelope for every refill needed. A tacky practice for a doctors office as I have never seen this anywhere in my dealings with doctors offices. They clear out magazines you are reading at the end of the day while you are sitting there waiting to be seen for over an hour and a half. This office is above all about money and not about patient care. Staff treats you like you are not a customer but that it is your privilege to be there.
