Dr. Judith Lyn Balk, MD

I really liked dr balk, unfortunately she left her practice a few years ago and hasn’t shown up anywhere yet...not sure what happened. She was very kind and did not talk down to her patients...wish she’d come back??

MIssing her now but hope to find ---- She was professional, qualified, understanding, wealth of information, accurately heard what I said, on point with the type of person I am, offered great alternatives ..........

I had a great experience with Dr. Balk and have recommended her to several friends, who have also been very pleased. So professional, very friendly, spent as much time with me as I needed, staff was wonderful. I'm glad I had to find another doctor due to insurance purposes because I found a gem.

Have seen Dr. Balk at Magee's Midlife Center for years. Very genuine person. Always made me feel very comfortable. Hopefully I can still see her at her new location. Would recommend her to my friends and family.

I waited a year to get in to see Dr. Balk; she met with me once to discuss some issues I was having, and I really liked how she took all of my concerns seriously. When it came time for my annual exam, I learned she had left UPMC but no one would tell me where she was. Does anyone know?

This doctor gives you the time of day and more. It is like you are her only patient when you are in the exam room. She really reads your file before seeing you & references the conversation you had with her last year. She is thorough & knowledgeable.

Dr. Balk is an excellent diagnostician who is beyond caring, taking the time to explain everything in layman's terms without talking down to her patient. It can be difficult to get an appointment to see her but she is definitely worth the wait.
