I've been a patient at 4 OBGYN practices in the last 20 years, and this by far is the best. The office is beautifully decorated and meticulously clean with a large and comfortable waiting room. The office staff is courteous and quick. But it isn't the decor or the staff that gets my 5 star review. After over 2 years of dealing with a medical issue that was called "scar tissue" and a "tilted uterus" by two different doctors at my last practice, Dr. Barreiro immediately knew what was really wrong and how to fix it. I'm currently 11 months post-op after a hysterectomy for a uterine prolapse and rectocele repair, and I feel FANTASTIC. She has given me my quality of life back! She is an amazing surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner and I can't thank her enough for returning some of my quality of life. Dr. Barreiro takes her time explaining, and was great dealing with my family and their millions of questions at the hospital. She came highly recommended to me by my cousin who… had a bladder lift by Dr. Barreiro a couple of years ago. Do not think twice about visiting this practice if you're looking for a talented, kind, and professional OBGYN.

Dr. Barreiro did such an amazing job with my first c section and the plastibell for our son’s circumcision that I chose my 2nd c section date based on her availability. They asked what date do you want your 2nd little guy born? And I asked when is Dr. Barreiro on the schedule during my 39th week? Because I normally go to the Lutz office, I rotated her in to my last few visits at the Tampa North office both times to get more acquainted with her. So in all she performed 2 sections, my tube removal during 2nd c section and both of our sons’ plastibells. Her skill is amazing and her demeanor while direct is very caring. She helped me understand everything every step of the way.

This Dr. is one of the best I've had. I had an HPV diagnose an I was going to be scheduled for a major procedure , when I decided to visit this Dr. for a second opinion, she was very sincere to me and did exactly what I needed, totally avoiding the risky and aggressive procedure I was scheduled iin the other Dr's office. I highly recommend her, she is not interested on charging your insurance as other Drs. do, she is so professional that she does exactly what you need.
