Dr. Judith Kennedy, MD

Dr. Judith Kennedy was my OB with my first baby and also delivered my nephews and niece. She is kind, direct, and consistently advocated for me during both the happiest and most challenging moments. I truly believe Dr. Kennedy is the reason I survived hemorrhaging twice after giving birth. Her entire team of nurses is knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly supportive, making every visit reassuring and comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kennedy for anyone seeking an OB who combines expertise with genuine care.

I've been complaining of chronic pain near my right hip area/pelvis for over a year now. Finally had an internal ultrasound that came back with results of a small cyst, however, my right ovary was 4x larger than the left. Dr. Kennedy's response was that my right side pain was "not from my lady parts" and referred me to physical therapy with no further follow up from a gynecologic standpoint. I received a second opinion and ended up having a laparoscopy. I had visible endometriosis, blood in my abdomen from a now ruptured cyst, and my right ovary was attached to my abdominal wall due to scar tissue. Dr. Kennedy did not even mention to me the possibility of endometriosis/adhesions or bother to look further in depth even when I was symptomatic. I've been less than thrilled with Fort Wayne doctors and next time if I have any type of non-textbook issue, I'll be going to a larger city for my healthcare.

Only thing I got to say about DR. KENNEDY YOU ROCK you been my dr for 16 years and I love you you the BEST ??

I am a senior and went to Dr Kennedy for a pelvic exam. I felt she was very friendly and knowledgeable, and did not try to pressure me into getting a colonoscopy when I told her - several times - that I did not want one. I was told I would get either a letter or phone call within the next couple of days to let me know the results of my stool sample. The very next day, someone from the colonoscopy dept called saying "Dr Kennedy sent over an order for me to schedule a colonoscopy." I of course took that to mean that my stool sample came back positive, and I was quite upset. It took me two hours and many phone calls to find out that my sample was NEGATIVE, and she just automatically refers all patients over 50 to get the exam. I felt this was beyond unfair to a patient, especially since I told her several times that I did NOT want that exam. At the very least, she could have saved me a very frightful afternoon by simply putting into my file to NOT schedule a colonoscopy. I will not be… returning to her.

I had 3 refills remaining with my birth control and moved to another state. My new insurance does not cover the same prescription but covers the generic one. Dr Kennedy did not bother herself with writing a new prescription for generic birth control since I am not going to be under her care anymore!

Dr. Kennedy is absolutely the best doctor!! She is so caring with her patients and always goes above and beyond for them!! The staff in her office are incredibly amazing too!! I wouldn't trust anyone else to deliver my kids other than her!!

She goes out of her way to help you. She is kind and understanding!!! Yet she is truthful. I could not ask for a better Dr to deliver my two babies!!

This doctor wasn't even at the hospital when I gave birth to my daughter. Her staff is rude. I think she should have stayed in engineering. :/
