Judith Palfrey, MD

Dr. Judith S. Palfrey, MD, is Director of the Global Pediatrics Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and the T. Berry Brazelton Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. A nationally recognized leader in pediatric medicine and child advocacy, she specializes in developmental-behavioral pediatrics, community child health, and global child health initiatives. Dr. Palfrey earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her pediatric training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. She previously served as Chief of the Division of General Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and as president of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
