Dr. Judith Eve Rubin, MD

Dr. Rubin seems talented, but her billing office has been deplorable. They charged us for expenses, up front, despite our having excellent insurance. Afterwards, they didn't refund the portion of the amount owed back. Much later they sent us a Patient Statement billing us for all the previous expenses which had been paid long ago, basically double billing us. Her billing office wouldn't return calls and was indifferent and rude when eventually contacted (after lengthy holds and disconnects). They finally said to ignore the double billing statement, but refused to properly allow for discussion of the amount owed back to us. We're wondering how many of her patients have also been double billed and may have paid again, believing the billing office to be competent. We're considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, something we've never done before!
