Dr. Judy Weiss

Thankfully this doctor retired. Took me as a patient knowing she was going to retire. Refused to talk about pain-management! Told me to make another appt. I fired her anyway. Horrible, horrible.

Judy Weiss is by far the best Rheumotologist in the Denver -Boulder area. I have seen many of them and none compare to Dr weiss.

I have been seeing Dr. Weiss for years. At first I thought her bedside manner was lacking, but she has turned out to be the best doctor I have ever had in any area. She is so amazing at diagnosing problems and giving you advice. I would not trade her for anything. She actually has a very funny, caustic type of humor and is just wonderful. Her intelligence and expertise shine!!

I only went to Dr. Weiss twice. Her bedside manner is atrocious. She hands out very distressing, life threatening diagnoses like Pez Candy and also told me that I "read too much" and to "stop reading" about my illness when I wanted to be well informed of my illness. A decent, proactive Doctor will never tell a patent this ridiculous information in an age where patients are pro active and take a big part in their own care. If you are looking for somone who can take some blood work and get you a diagnosis, well maybe this doctor will do. If you want a doctor who could care less about handing you a diagnosis of an incurable disease and is generally just not a nice person, then I would definetely tell you to find a different Doctor! An important side-note here - the office was also quite dirty and that bothered me. Overflowing trash bins, floor not mopped recently and just rather untidy in general. There are really not too many positives at this practice.

I realize it takes some time to diagnosis, and often longer to find the right medication that works for you personally. I am happy with my relationship with Dr Judy Weiss, and feel she always listens to me, and is frank and honest with her opinions. That's what I want in a doctor.
