Dr. Judy Woo, MD

It’s unfortunate to see these negative reviews, as our experience with Dr. Woo was incredibly positive. From the moment she walked into the room and began her examination, she kept us informed and valued our input. She explained everything thoroughly and was patient, kind, and warm toward our child. We felt heard and well cared for throughout the entire visit.

It is so unfortunate that Dr. Woo is licensed when she lacks professionalism. I brought my sister, who has Down syndrome (DS), to get evaluated by her . Upon arriving, before being able to utter a complete sentence, Dr. Woo cut me off to inform me that she is not the designated doctor for the evaluation we were seeking. I explained that I made it very clear to her front desk what evaluation we were seeking. Mistakes happen, however, during our 10-min encounter, she insulted me by asking if I knew that my sister had DS and if I understand what DS is. She then asked me to explain to her what DS is. Never once did she greet my sister but instead said “hey!” and snapped her fingers at my sister. When it was evident that she is incompetent, I told her that we were leaving and she told me that I couldn’t leave. If you decide to go to Dr. Woo, not only will you be treated by a doctor who is rude, but also by one who doesn’t know she can’t hold people against their will.

She isn’t a warm dr but so knows her stuff! First doctor to listen and help

Dr Woo is the worst dr I've ever taken my child to, I felt she was mean to her and never really cared one bit about what was going on, she rushed has rushed us every time we are at her office and treats children like a piece of meat in a supermarket. I've been looking for a straight answer on what her diagnosed is and after 3 months of taking my daughter there she is still deviating my questions to not give me a diagnose, she seems to care more about our personal lives than getting to find a cure or a diagnostic. she is definitely not a compassionate dr at all she should not be treating children. my daughter is afraid of going to see her as she says she is mean and I see that also on the way we are treated. RUSHHH RUSHH RUSHH. She seems to be bother by you in her office or by questions being asked. this dr should lose her license. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE TO TAKE YOUR CHILD THERE!!!! SHE IS RUDE....

Without asking many questions she was very quick to diagnosing my son with autism. She was unfriendly to my wife and I and even colder to are son. She not only ignored are questions bust asked us to stop asking them. Before revealing her diagnosis she asked us to first guess what we thought it was. And for unknown reasons asked my wife and I are occupations. I question her and the doctor that sent us there.

After taking my daughter to a neurologist and not having any answers about what was going on with her, we decided to go to Dr. Woo.Same answers as the first neurlologist. No diagnostics, but delay in some areas.Which is fine for me, but that is not how she presented to us. She starts saying a lot of possiblities:"your daughter might have retardation" - even tough she does not have any signs of it."she might have learning difficulty" - I say she might also be a famous singer...who knows?"who in your family is slow? Is it your mother? (looking at me)" - I say she is short, but not slow!!!! she was just trying to find someone to be guilty.I could keep going with examples... but that is not the case. If you never felt super bad after seeing a doctor, take your child there! You will! I assure you!Very cold doctor. Does not have people manners. Does not know how to talk to parents. Says things in a very agressive way, without explaining the concepts first.Anyway, find a better one. There are… much better ones out there.

The experience was horrible. She rushed us in and out. She also does her own office work and asked me more questions about my personal life than about my son which is the reason why we visited. She is just awful. I felt like I had to dig information out of her and she did not seem caring at all. Her 19 years experience meant nothing to me. She obviously does not care about the well being of the children. I would never go back.

Dr Woo's caring, professionalism and deep knowledge in her field make her stand out among her peers. My son has been seeing her for a couple of years now, he had make such an improvement in his condition that making the long trips to her office worthwhile. We have a very positive experience with her service.
