Dr. Jue Wang, MD

We chose Dr. Wang based on his extremely high qualifications – just look at his page on the Dignity Health website – but he was so much better than we could have hoped. First things first – he was RIGHT about my need for prostate surgery when others were not so sure. The results validated his professional opinion, so I am currently cancer-free thanks to him. Besides this, he is the very model of the best kind of oncologist. We felt like a family, not a “case” or a symptom cluster. He took the time to listen, to explain thoroughly, to respect and answer our questions, to see if we had more questions. We knew at every moment that we were in good hands. I cannot recommend Dr. Wang highly enough.

Dr. Jue Wang has been my husband's oncologist since 2016. We moved from Maryland after my husband's second bout of cancer in 2012. He was diagnosed with his third cancer in 2016 and had extensive surgery. My husband was hesitant to do preventative chemo after his surgery. Dr. Wang presented him with three options; radiation, chemotherapy or close monitoring. He opted for close monitoring and Dr. Wang was supportive of his decision. Unfortunately, in 2018 cancer reared its ugly head a fourth time and my husband had surgery and is subsequently going through chemo. Dr. Wang has tailored my husband’s treatment in order to have the best chance of eliminating the cancer while maintaining a good quality of life. My wife has kidney cancer which has spread. She has had a kidney removed and medicine treatment for the remaining tumors. Her oncologist suggested a University Hospital to continue her treatment. Dr Wang gained our trust immediately and explained our treatment options in detail. We see Dr Wang monthly, we live 340 miles away, and when we bring other family members or friends to the appt he takes the time to greet each person and addresses everyone's questions before we leave. We regard him and his staff very highly.

Dr. Wang has treated me for years after surgery options were exhausted to treat my kidney cancer. He is very caring and involved in my treatment and I believe that because of his care my length and quality of life has been extended. I would refer him to anyone of my loved ones for their care.

Dr. Wang has shown himself to be very expert in his work and very caring for his patients. In my case, he has spent countless hours explaining every step of the drug trial we are part of. I would recommend him.

Dr. Wang is very concerned about your health. He takes time even draws pictures to show you what things look like. He has time to explain things to you and makes you feel more comfortable with the diagnosis of cancer. He is very good at keeping on top of the progress of the cancer and checks out everything else at the sae time. I am so thankful I was sent to Omaha to see Dr. Wang. He is a very caring oncologist. My family thinks fery highly of him also..
