Dr. Jules Monte Perley SR., MD

This office is a zoo! Please do not allow this doctor to touch you! His license needs to be revoked! This man is heartless! I believe he creates problems only to "treat them"(hence $$$) oh gosh!! Where did his ETHICS GO??????

Although the atmosphere is wild in the office. There are times when the hallway is filled with patients in wheelchairs and the wait is long. The medical staff is rushed. Take a deep breath and have a snack ready while you wait. Given that the professional decision making of Dr. Perley is most excellent. He gave us directions. He is kind and knowledgeable. We are grateful to him.

Went to him for a vasectomy. He treated me like I was bothering him each visit. Was literally walking away from me and out of the room as I tried to ask him a question. His nurses even apologized over and over for his behavior. Honestly feel he butchered the job too. It’s been well over a year and I still have constant aches in certain parts of my testes and groin area. At my follow up when I mentioned a friend told me about their vasectomy and how their doctor cauterized their vas deferens he said “that really would’ve hurt.” My friend said he’s totally fine and didn’t have any discomfort after 3 days. Wouldn’t recommend Perley to anyone.

Waiting room is crowded, but dr Perley is a good doctor.

Avoid at all costs. He refused to look at my ct scan and when given a summary report, he didnt even read the date it was completed and misread the report at that. He should not be allowed to practice medicine.

Dr. Jules Perley was my second opinion. Worst doctor I've ever been to! Waited 2 hrs in the waiting room each time plus front desk was super rude. He didn't care to listen to my symptoms or ask what previous urologist said. Went in to do a scope and didn't even bother to say hi, never explained the procedure. After 2 mins he walked out. I asked the nurse if he planned on coming back to talk to me and she said no don't think so. What?!! Once I got changed I tracked him down at the front desk and basically made him speak with me. He used said I had a UTI. I told him I can't be having a UTI for over 18 months now and all the labs come out negative, that doesn't make sense. He told me I should stick to one doctor and stop jumping around and we'll figure it out within a year. WHAT????!!!! That's completely absurd thing to say. He didn't even find what the previous doctor found. He said that it must of disappeared. He is an incompetent, heartless, rude, completely non-professional so… called doctor. Save yourself and don't go to him.

Funny how it says he has over 57 years of experience which doesn’t seem like it. I been having a nephrostomy bag for over 6 months and I have begged him to remove it and he has not done anything, I have gotten 2 really bad infections that I had to be hospitalized for over 5 days and he still doesn’t do anything, now my kidney is declining due to this. Also every time I go for an appointment all he does is tap my back and doesn’t say anything pretty much what the other reviews say that is how he is. We need answers not just some dr to stay quiet and not do anything. I do not recommend him to anyone.

Just retire.

Went in for a Cystoscopy because of many issues. This joker only hurt me and didn’t even sit down and claimed he did a cystoscopy, when all he did was hurt me for 5-10 seconds. Told me I was misinformed on procedures. Horrible person, not thorough and I’m glad to see it wasn’t just me that felt this way. I filed a grievance complaint and hope this idiot just retires and someone else that actually cares to do their job can take over in Lakewood. Very unprofessional once I expressed my concerns on his poor lack of empathy. Get this joker out of Lakewood.

I waited for 1.5 hours to see Dr J. Perley and when i did, he spent 2 minutes didnt say anything and didnt ask me any question, eventhough i tried to tell him about my issues.
