Dr. Juli Denise Williams, MD

I've been seeing Dr Williams for about 8 yrs. Getting to talk to a nurse on the phone is a difficult venture, but I'm happy with the doctor. She listens to the issues and makes sure I get what I need. I'm not one for liking medications and if there's a natural way to address a problem, she's willing to try it if that's what I want. She keeps good track of my progress on various medical issues I've had over the years and is also personable. One of few doctors I like and trust.

The doctor is good. The office is poorly run. The nurses never call back when they say they will. It is very difficult to get and appointment if a medical situation comes up unexpectedly.

Some of the "nursing" staff are nice, but mst are basically just doing the minimum. Stephanie, I assume is a receptionist, is totally inapproiate with treatment of patients. Saff/nurses rarely call back on the day you leave a message even if you call at 9:00 AM. Very difficult to talk to a live person when you call. Even the Office Manager was slow to call me, so I could complain. Very slow to call with test results, no matter what the tests.Dr. Williams is a good doctor, and I like her, but all business. If you want a warm fuzzy doctor, she's not for you.Overall, I think the practice is too big to provide caring, professional service to their patients.

my appointment tuesday made me aware everyone can have a bad day every now and then... that day was my turn! aside from the day i wrote the other comments! being forced to move to TN to live with family after 26 yrs of building a life in FL, everything seems a little daunting. dead car battery made me late for my appt. though dr. williams still made time for me.i didn't quite understand what being a new patient meant. now that i am a little more settled i would like to say how much i appreciate dr. williams willingness to be accomodating and work with me without knowing much about my health history. after having a relationship with my prior doctor for over 15 years seeing a new doc was very uncomfortable. given my issues i am extremely greatful she didn't just write me off and tell me to go elsewhere. she is generous and understanding of my situation and that is crucial since life with this problem is hard enough without having to fight for relief. thank you dr. williams!

just moved here so i had to find a new doctor. after getting to my appointment 15 minutes early, i was told there was only one patient ahead of me... then after waiting, and waiting, and waiting, more than two hours later i was taken into a room, to wait some more. she didn't even introduce herself when she finally came into the room 30 minutes later. the entire visit (for a basic prescription refill) took about 4 hours. then trying to pay my bill took 3 people and 20 more minutes. after returning home i had to mail back some paperwork that was inadvertently given to me that was the doctors. now, last thursday i spoke with someone who was going to call in a prescription to my pharmacy... it is tuesday and nothing has been called in. it should not take ME 3 phone calls to get that done. i am so fed up with this experience i could cry. i do not have insurance and because of their incompetence i am forced to find a new doctor and pay another "new patient" fee i cannot afford. i rarely… post negative comments but people need to beware... i can only hope not all doctors in this area are like this! anyone have any suggestions???

Initial exam was done by a student, an extra long wait time. Follow up visits were shorter wait times, but never was examined thoroughly for problems, instead sent me to a specialist, which cost more money for them to tell me what's going on. She also had very poor social skills for a female physician.
