Dr. Julia Denise Burrow, MD

Dr. Burrow herself is a very kind, compassionate, and competent clinician. She is so down to earth, and explains her plans for care in language that is easy for the layperson to understand. The therapists on staff vary in skill and professionalism; in our experiences with two of them, one has been a literal lifesaver and the other was incredibly unprofessional. As for the office staff, everyone is kind and friendly, except for Kathleen, who is standoffish, incredibly rude, and would have already chased us away from this practice if not for the amazing care received here. I always try to go out of my way to be extra polite to her, and she is still incredibly curt and rude. I’m not sure why a mental health practice would want someone like this working the front office of their practice, as it’s quite off putting.

"The officer staff is extremely unfriendly. The finance woman has no idea what she's doing. They refused to make appointments for my child until I paid a $500 bill for a month that she claimed I didn't have insurance (I did) and I later received a letter from a collection agency stating that I owed this office over $600 for bills that I had NEVER received. Our therapist was great, but sadly we had to move to another office."
