Dr. Julia Renee Harris, MD

Please find another doctor. 1. She is very dismissive of clients who are overweight. I gained weight between my two annual visits and she treated me very different after the weight gain. 2. She is dismissive of patients’ medical concerns and seems very uninformed. 3. I took a day off work to get a x-ray only to find out that she ordered the wrong test for the wrong side of my body, so they could not conduct the x-ray and we could not reach anyone in her office. 4. I can never reach anyone in her office and it takes days or weeks to receive a call back.

Dr. Harris had her office call me 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment to tell me she was no longer accepting new patients despite the appointment being made well in advance. When I inquired more about the cancellation, I was hung up on. The service was very unprofessional, brusque, and displayed a lack of care for the patient’s time. I was excited to see Dr. Harris because of her other stellar reviews, but I was severely disappointed with this experience and would express caution to other patients that continue to see her as this complete disregard for a patient’s time and plans can often be pervasive through a practice.

The other day when I saw Dr. Julia...her hair was beautifully braided. I saw her at the Eye Clinic and she had scheduled me for a laser eye procedure. I must delay this appointment-but I just can't wait to see her, again. She's fantastic

She made me feel comfortable and is by far the best physician I’ve had! Way to go Dr. Harris

She’s never inviting. She has minimal knowledge and can never help with any issues I have. Honestly one of the worst doctors I’ve had. Very inpersonable.

Very nice doctor, always takes her time, is very personable and never makes me feel rushed . Very good listener and her advice and diagnosis is always with a very good explaination. Office generally works well with my out of network specialist doctor.

dr . harris is a people person . she doesnt run you in and out like an assembly line of cars like ford moter production. When you leave her office you feel emotionally and physically healed or at least on your way to hope . i have used doctor harris for about a year off and own and i highly recommend her to anyone that needs a good family primary doctor in the city of homewood illinois . you can go wrong .

Worst doctor I have ever come into contact with.

I have been seeing Dr. Harris for a few years now, her secretary sucks but the nurse was great and Dr. Harris was AWESOME! She would sit and talk to me, she would ask how my husband was doing, she even told me a way to treat his allergies at home without seeing him and without perscribing anything! I moved last year and when I came back she was gone, or so i hear! I am ailling to drive an hour to see her, she was GREAT!

I have been going to Dr Harris for several years and she has been nothing but nice to me. Her bedside manner is very acceptable and she has always answered all of my questions and concerns. Her office staff was helpful as well. I have always felt comfortable in her office and was well informed when I would leave my appointment. I find it hard to believe that she was anything but the same with all of her patients as I read the other reviews. I would and have recommended Dr Harris to others.
