Dr. Julia Wanetta Johansson, MD

I went in to see Dr Johansson because my original midwife was out of the office. I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have been dealing with constantly being sick during pregnancy and it’s starting to affect me mentally. She spent maybe 30 seconds on the ultrasound and not even talking me through it. She always was extremely rough with checking my cervix. Then this is the part that really was hard for me, when she asked if I had any questions I tried to discuss that my mental health was not doing good and began crying. She grabbed a tissue, told me to wait till my doctor was back from leave, and walked out the door. I was looking for support and was not even given the slightest bit of care. Prenatal depression/anxiety definitely needs to be a concern and not treated like it just is normal or something to rub off….

I always felt like she was polite but I didn't feel like she actually cared for me as a patient she just kind of got me in and out and then towards the end of the pregnancy in my late third trimester I warned her about feeling like I had a infection and her and her nurse just wrote it off and made comments such as what is she doing back here she just wants to have her baby already and no I decided because they wrote it off twice that I'd go see another OBGYN at the same place and he said yes I had the infection that I was worried about and gave me antibiotics the very last week 39 weeks. That could have been done and over with three weeks prior or more. ??

Julie was amazing with me for my first child. Always made sure my concerns were addressed. I even had issues with the nursing staff during my delivery and she addressed ththaththat so that I could have comfy stay at hospital. I love her and wont go with anyone else

Me and my wife meet with the Dr. Johansson about a week ago and it wasn't that great of an experience. She wasn't mean or anything like that, but she wasn't very understanding. She really didn't take the time to listen or even listen to what I wanted to do. She pushed her opinions on my wife, making her feel dumb and childish, with out listening to what she had to say. She also made the appointment really quick and was in and out with in a matter of minuets. He suggestion were not very helpful. It was to just increase the dosage of my wives medicine. We are going to go see another doctor. I'm writing this so that people that need a doctor that listens and is open to new ideas, know that its preferably found at another place.

I would not recommend her at all . She literally rolled her eyes at us , our visits were literally under 5 minutes and she is always in a rush and seems to not care about you or baby !! -_-

Very rushed with me. I didn't feel like she even looked at me as a person. Not sure I will go back to her

She was very informative for what I should be doing at this stage in my life to help prevent certain issues from arising. Very personable and respectful of my time.

My experience with Dr. Johannson was very unprofessional. We had discussed in detail her views on many things during my prenatal apointments leading up to my delivery. The way she responded and treated my family during delivery was unacceptable. She was in such a rush to get things over with. She demonstrates absolutely no patience. She broke my water without my consent after I told her not to. She was angry and loud. She was very aggressive with my baby. My little girl had deep scratches on the top of my head from dr. Johansson. She was horrible during delivery from start to finish. Think twice about having her be your doctor.

Dr Johansson was so abrupt and impersonal, that this was the worst medical visit I have had. Although there did not appear to be any patients waiting to see her, she seemed so rushed that I didn't feel I could ask questions. She wanted to schedule me for a medical procedure that had nothing to do with my visit. I paid a large co-payment for this appointment, and feel that I have been taken advantage of, and will now need to see another doctor for my issue.

Went to this Dr because a family member liked her I also wanted a female Dr. Labor and delivery was bad she let me push for 3 hrs with the hospital staff then decided to show up an said my baby was to big and if assisted delivery didn't work we would do an emergency c section. Well she got the baby out alright after Bracing herself with her foot on my bed babies head was bright red . Never wanted another child after that experience. Many years later I got the courage to have another baby definitely wanted a male Dr an he was amazing!!!!!! I can't thank him enough.
