Dr. Julia Kononowicz

Doctors like Dr Kono are a rare find. Dr Kono is compassionate, empathetic and brilliant. I love the way she explains medical terms to me and my family. She never made me feel dumb, despite my many questions about my son. She took her time to make sure I was able to understand his asthma, how to treat it and how to look for warning signs. Everyone thinks they know what asthma is, but until every bit of it is broken down for you, you have no idea. Dr Kono went through every detail, even drew out the disease process for me. She gave me all the time I needed, and never seemed to hurry up the conversation and leave the room. I felt that my son was safe with her taking care of him. I can't thank her enough for everything she did for my family in the hospital!

This residential so called doctor wanted to claim my sons stridor was due to a panic attack when he was in anaphylaxis along with a uvula that was extremely swollen left untreated until noticed by a nurse then comes running Mr mcclair to give him dexamethasone as Julia says it to provide comfort lol How about you tell the truth in your write ups in patients medical records. When you know very well the steroid was given to take down extreme swelling to open his airways but all of you acted too late and now he has permanent damage to the nerves in his throat to where his epiglottis just flops and his tongue slings backwards closing off 80% of his airway. My son called 911 inside the hospital because this medical personnel was no where to be found. Just because you can talk someone into focusing on there breathing lowering heart rate doesn't mean it's for fact just anxiety or panic. Let your airways be constricted and see if you panic or not. I highly suggest you pay more attention to… what the patient is telling you instead of what you feel is correct. Damage is done and he's gotta live with it now.
