My experience with Dr. Mayberry following an infection on my right hand could not have been more positive. What I liked the most about her was the way she built trust with me as a patient, that she was both willing and able to help me get better. I was in a lot of pain and things seemed to be spiraling out of control, but through the whole process she was decisive, steady, and kept reminding me she knew exactly what to do to get me back on track. And she did! She is so very efficient, so no nonsense. She helped put in place all the medical care I needed from different specialists, communicated with them as well as myself to get us all on the same page, all of it in record time. She literally held my hand on the path to recovery, every step of the way. Dr. Mayberry looks at the patient in the eye while saying "We got this. Do what I tell you to do. I'll take care of you.", and she does so in a way that is compelling, caring, and healing. I could not have asked for a better physician and… hand surgeon. Something has to be said as well about the highly competent staff she is surrounded by. Everyone in her practice is held to very high standards of efficiency and care, and it shows. if I ever had to go through this ordeal all over again, Dr. Mayberry would be the professional and human being I would want by my side.

I broke my wrist the day after Christmas which was a Tuesday. After Urget Care treatment, I was able to see Dr. Mayberry the very next day. She stabslizec my wrist, explained the injury in detail , and she scheduled surgery the very next morning at Bryn Mawr Hospital. The surgery was on time and I had no complications. Within 4 weeks of surgery I was cast free and began PT she planned. Now 7 weeks later I am driving, getting full use of the wrist back and am thankful I had the opportunity to be referred to Dr. Mayberry.

Dr. Julia Mayberry is a very qualified physician skilled in diagnosing hand, elbow and shoulder injuries. Her caring nature and bedside manner are truly genuine. During the two years spent in her care she was always carefule to provide comprehensive updates of my progress and the staff in her office always operates in a very professional and caring manner as well. She has earned a very high recommendation for her service.
