Dr. Julia Sargent

I enjoyed working with Dr. Sargent. She is friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. Her assisting nurse is also a gem. What is difficult is getting an appointment with her. I highly recommend her for appointments scheduled ahead of time -- physicals, tests, etc. Urgent needs such as infections or injuries are impossible to schedule, you must schedule months ahead, which can be frustrating. I assume this overscheduling is a practice issue, rather than a physician issue, so my rating doesn't reflect this.

Friendly but did not seem concerned over any of the Concerns that I had. Told the doctor that I was positive of my diagnosis and wanted to have it tested. She had me perform my own vaginal swab, but did not send it off right then for me to get results back during my visit had to wait 18 hours to get my results back showing positive for bacterial vaginosis. After receiving the positive results not only did she send the prescription to the wrong pharmacy She was supposed to correct the prescription from pills to a gel. Instead she deactivated the prescription for the pills but never sent in the prescription for the gel. I had to contact the office and speak with a nurse who then had to wait for the doctor to approve for me to get the prescription. I’m still waiting. As a new patient, I can say I won’t be returning to this doctor.
