Dr. Julia Yen Stokes, MD

Dr. Stokes is an amazing doctor and very professional.

I have been seeing her for several years and I have been very happy with her. Much happier with her than my past doctor. Maybe a little rushed at times. Always seems to be very caring and concerned. I do think some of the staff are very unfriendly.I have never waited more than 15 minutes in the waiting room. She sent me to a specialist for a problem that my prior doctor had ignored that resulted in surgery. Overall I like her very much.

Moved to the Grove City area and was looking for a female doctor, I happened to find Dr. Stokes. I was impressed with the facility and how easy it was to set up an appointment. However, the few times I had gone there I had felt extremely rushed and that I wasn't really cared for. She doesn't take the time to ask you a variety of questions about why you are there. Bottom line, I didn't feel "cared" for. And I am honestly glad they dropped TriCare insurance so that I can easily find a better family physician.

I was recommended to go to this location by my boss who goes to Dr. Harper and could not get in with him so I was scheduled with Dr. Stokes. I was not impressed; I told her I had passed out in the sun recently and have had this happen before and she completely disregarded it and asked if I was drinking water?! And then she described the tilt table test as me having to get something injected into myself while being strapped to a table; she described it as this horrible experience so of course I didn't do that. I'm not impressed with the staff at this location either; not friendly. And while she was telling me about the tilt table she did not come off friendly and caring; I did not have a good experience...

This Dr. hurries w/ appointments & does not impressy with her demeanor. She seriously misdiagnosed my 81 yr. Old mother resulting in Osteomylitis .She kept prescribing for Gout. My MOM had an acute bacterial infection leading to OsteoMylitis and amputation of her left toe which was extremely acute . She also diagnosed Gout in her left arm from tip of fingers to elbow...which was actually cellulitis. The misdiagnosis lead to 10days in goal. then 1mo. in a rehab home and is still healing with a Wound Vac ,steady antibiotics,& Nurse care at home three days a week with a long way to go. Do not use this "Dr" if you value your life.
