Dr. Julia Thorne

Julia Thorne, a native of Ft Lauderdale, FL, is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. Julia began her career as a registered nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit in Orlando, FL. She also worked in the rapid response department and education department, where she spent 4 years training new nurses. Julia continued her career in the field of family practice and later in regenerative medicine after becoming a nurse practitioner. She specializes in injection therapy and has spent a good portion of her career training fellow NPs, PAs, and MDs in mastering injection techniques. Julia enjoys teaching and learning and has furthered her education with Legal Nurse Consultant training from the University of Georgia. She has also served as adjunct faculty for the University of Central Florida and Mercer University. She is …currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at Frontier Nursing University. Julia believes that patients deserve exceptional care without prejudice or judgment. She has spent her career educating patients to ensure they can actively participate in making informed decisions regarding their healthcare. In her spare time, Julia enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. She also enjoys reading and camping.
