Dr. Julian Neville Anthony, MD

He is a nice person but NOT who you want as your Dr if you have a potentially life threatening prostate cancer issue. Dr. Anthony uses old school and out of date biopsy methods. He relies upon an old random biopsy technique that has a high rate of missing tumors! More modern Drs use a targeted biopsy technique with the benefit of sonograms and MRI images to direct WHERE the biopsy should be taken. To add further insult to the lack of proper care, Dr Anthony did a blood test where the lab reported to him SIGNIFICANT indications of a tumor. He and his staff sat in this information and did not contact us for over a month. What caring Dr waits a month to tell someone they probably have cancer? Once we visited several other prostate Drs and learned about what are the newer more accepted methods of care, we realized unfortunately, Dr Anthony pales in comparison.

He made serious mistakes doing surgery removing my prostate. He should have never removed it in the first place. On top of that he damaged nerve endings beyond repair. I can never have a sexual relationship again thanks to Anthony Julian

Dr, Anthony no-showed for my surgical follow up appointment. He went to a meeting (not a medical emergency) instead and didn't call until well after my scheduled appointment time to tell staff he was "on his way". An hour later no Dr. Anthony and I left. No apology from the doctor or his staff. After several problems and rude treatment I switched to another urologist at this office. Some of the staff is really good while others are just plain rude and unprofessional

Do not trust this man with your health care! His surgical errors and subsequent failed diagnosis gobbled up 10 months of my life. Fortunately I was able to see a competent surgeon who immediately diagnosed Dr. Anthony's surgical complications and was able to correct the problem. Dr. Anthony was dismissive, arrogant and condescending - great attributes for a doctor - and never took responsibility for his mistakes. If your doctor refers you to him, see somebody else!

Dr. Anthony is arrogant and condescending. He views you as a check from the insurance company then casts you out the door.

I spent the better part of a year suffering from Dr. Anthony's surgical errors. Throughout the treatment he was condescending and arrogant - great qualities for an ignorant doctor. I had corrective surgery performed by another urologist and my condition is improved. If you value your jewels, don't let this fool near them.

Fails to take responsibility for the care he provides and doesn't consult with other doctors when he doesn't understand a problem or condition. Some of the staff are really good, polite and professional, others are rude and inattentive.
