Dr. Julie Alice Ashton, MD

Front end staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Ashton is thorough and a genuinely caring physician. I have been using her since late 2006 and now have three children. We have had to make a few emergency visits to her practice and have had the opportunity to meet a couple of the other doctors on staff whom are just as sweet and attentive as Dr. Ashton. I have referred my cousin who is a first time parent and he too is very pleased with the services in this practice.

I like Dr. Ashton but it's not easy to get an appointment with her even when you call months in advance. One of the receptionists is rude and answers the phone often. Can't stand talking to her. The wait time is out of control. Always MUCH too long. I am searching for another doctor for these reasons.

She was my daughter's doctor since birth. AS first time mom, I did not notice anything during consultations. Every concern or question that I had, she would say I should not worry about. Concerns like, she was 19 months and not walking. Late to crawl, to say first words, even late teething, among other things. But for dr. Ashton everything is normal and on its time!Well, I decided to take her to a neurologist when she was 21 months and doctor found that she has delays in many areas that might be minimized with therapies. She has being receiving therapy since then and today at 33 months she is almost on her target age. When we started she scored at 12 months, even though she was 23. Now, you tell me: How could the doctor miss that? almost a year delay?I am trully disappointed with Dr Ashton and am really glad that found help somewhere else. If you have a child with no issues at all - and I mean at all- you can give it a try. Otherwise, do not even bother.
