Dr. Julie Bevan, MD

I called Dr. Bevan last Friday, Aug 29. About meds for mom. Her Nurse Prac, Sarah, called back saying she would "reach out" to the doc. So far no response. Help. I mean how can you get a primary care doc who even knows what care means.

I love Dr. Beven. She has been my doctor for 10 years and I hope she never retires. She is so kind and smart.

Her notes are not accurate. She rushes the appointments. I have been seeing her for 20 yrs, you would think she would listen better and follow up with the issues I discussed with her at prior appts, but she never would. Each Time I go there she would treat me as if I am new to her. I was hospitalized and had a urgent appt to see her after, she walked into the room and had no idea I was in the hospital and why I was there. then she said since my visit was a same day appt. after about 5 mins she said since my visit was a same day appt she would have to end it !

I have been with Dr Bevan for over 15 years. She is an absolutely amazing doctor. Not only is she like the nicest person in the world, she is extremely knowledgeable and I am always impressed by how up to date her knowledge is. She must read constantly. This is a rare combination and she deserves all the praise in the world for her work.

Wonderful, calm bedside manner. Dr. Beven listens completely and then offers either diagnosis or suggestions. Feel like I've got a health care "partner", rather than someone just telling me what to do. I've been her patient for a few years and hope to continue with her as long as I can!

Dr. Bevan is very knowledgeable, compassionate and she has a holistic approach in caring for me. I feel as if I have instant access when I need to communicate to her or see her thru e-mail or making appointments, which is unusual in today's healthcare Industry. She makes me feel as if I am her only patient. I feel very fortunate to have her as my physician!!

It's very hard to see her, normally take about a couple weeks to a couple month when booking her appointment. I recently found out she is only working part time. So, if you are really sick, it's almost impossible to see her. She always make mistakes on billing, and a lot of time, they won't even want to correct it. So, it will end up paying the full amount without insurance out of your own packet. Choosing her as your primary is same as without having a Primary Doctor because it's just impossible to see her when you need to.
